I LOVED the Goku Black arc. Wasn't just about "I need to get stronger to beat them!". They had to figure out who Goku Black was in the first place & do a lot of detective work. Introduced you more to how Kais (Gods) did things & how they manipulated time. When you found out who Goku Black was your mind was BLOWN when he went Rose'. THEN you found out that he joined up with an alternate version of himself from a different timeline! Then when he stabbed Vegeta with his God Slicer it turned into a completely different type of battle. Goku Black kept upgrading his God Slicer as the battle went on & when he got his "Sickle of Sorrow" it wasn't just for cutting, IT COULD MANIPULATE TIME!!! Then Black & Zamasu fused (first time villains fused) And the one thing everyone doesn't seem to mention at all (prob cause the just want a fight) was the fact that GOKU & VEGETA LOST!!!!! They couldn't help Trunks save his timeline & they basically said "F-IT, we're leaving. Btw Zeni can you do me a solid & erase this timeline for me?"

A shortened ki blade and the oven mitt should've been the bare basic accessories for this guy. There's no real excuse for charging a premium price on a figure that has less accessories/parts than Fusion Zamasu which is like $15-$20 cheaper.

I was only really invested in the Goku Black storyline. They didn’t quite stick the landing but it was fun while it lasted. That DBS Broly movie does give me hope that better things will come.

My issue with this figure is that it is exclusive to the US. Meaning if if I want it in the UK I have to pay scalper prices and a customs charge. For what you get I just can’t justify that amount.

Zamasu is generally my favorite villain in dragon ball (along side goku black) so seeing him without the ki blade that he’s known for using is just surprising.

That smirk face might be the best DB figuarts face they've ever made. I liked the over-arching plot of Goku entering the realm of the gods, which fits really well with his Sun Wukong origins. I especially love the characters Super introduced and the tournaments were fun if light on the story. Dragon Ball hasn't had a *good* plot since the Frieza saga, so I wasn't expecting much anyway. The Goku Black arc was actually pretty compelling for most of it, just tripped on the landing a bit.

I didn’t like the plot of the goku black saga because in the end everything was for nothing because Zeno destroyed everything and all of the people they were trying to save died I’m pretty sure. I somewhat liked the tournament of power and the return of frieza was good but frieza got WAY too strong in that tiny amount of time. He went from super Saiyan level to super saiyan blue level in months. I don’t like how beerus was there the whole time and he could pretty much beat every enemie without goku and vegeta doing anything. It just didn’t make me think that the heroes were in as much trouble when the villain was stronger than they thought.

VB was justified as a PBandai. Plenty of standard hands, some hands specifically for the new release, Spirit Sword, Final Kamehameha, 4 alternate face, and effect for spirit sword to use with Merged Zamasu. I paid $74 with shipping and handling included. Now if I bought Zamasu and received this, I’d be upset. I’d say definitely not worth a PBandai release when Goku Black (for example) was loaded with effects and accessories

The lack of accessories for this figure is just disgusting, and there are so many obvious things they could have included. At the MINIMUM he should have included a ki sword like Goku Black. They could have also added a box with the time rings, or a tea set, or Whis’s kitten mitten. However, if you have two Goku Blacks, you can just give one of their ki blades to Zamasu, it fits on his hand perfectly!

This figure should of been a goku black/ Zamasu with a changeable neck like fused Zamasu. For accessories he should of came with a box of time rings, tea pot, tea cup, mitten, and is ki sword beam blade thing. For the goku black part hands with time rings on them and maybe like 4 faceplates a evil smirk, a crazy looking smile, yelling face like he's attacking and a neutral face. Then it would justify the price point and make this the best zamasu figure.

Battle of Gods, resurrection F, and goku black arc were good. Rest was pretty meh for me. A lot of decent character ideas and designs that amounted to little to nothing. Broly was good too. I liked GT more than Super. It had like a dozen dead episodes, Super is like half meh. Next arc from the manga sounds promising fwiw

I like Super, the whole season 1 till Trunk's future is a skipped since the movies were better. I will say Goku Black is easily my favorite villain in Super, I just wished the arc was executed better and not rushed. The way they ended it was poorly executed. I will say the same for every ending arc, rushed. But Super is miles above than GT, sorry GT I keep falling asleep for the first 10 episodes, hated the whole story plot since it came out back in the late 90's. I am very thankful it is non-canon, the way that Goku became the dragon and Piccolo dying off, with Mustache Vegeta, sorry not interested at all.

So many p-bandai items were people waiting for years and Bandai knew they can earn a lot and just want to cut the middle men and take all the profit from retail, distributors, wholesales. While consumers need to pay much more if they can not order directly from them. Only a few releases were for a few fans. I remember some items they cancelled in Japan because not enough order.

The eyes on my copy are really messed up, they're way too close together on the frowning face, and they're way too far apart on the smiling face. There's no consistency, especially for a "premium" figure. The worst part is that the fan base is defending P-Bandai already, which means it's not going anywhere. The only thing premium about these figures are the price tags.

To be honest, what they mean about “premium” is that it limited product, and sell in a small number (like each customer can only order 1-2 products). That why the price is much higher than normal products.

They should have also given him a alternate head were his potara earring is on the other ear so you can recreate Zamasu and Goku Black fusing. And maybe a hand for Goku Black, like him holding the other earring for the Supreme Kai of Universe 10 as another idea.

The tournament of power was fun and i thought the fight between goku and kefla was awesome, Goku black was awesome but i didnt care for the ending of the Goku black saga There was too many filler episodes leading up to the Tournament of power too

I watched dragonball z when I was a kid, and even then I think watched is a strong word. I really dug the toys though. Recently I binged all of Z and Super and I gotta say, I think super is better. That might be blasphemous, but Z was just SOOOO drawn out. There were so many things that lasted way longer than they needed to. The frieza fight, I know a lot of people love, but was just way too long start to finish. The story in both z and super are fine. But at the end of the day I'm not watching it for the most compelling story telling ever told. I love Z. I love the gohan videl arc. I love Goku going super saiyan, I love goten and trunks learning fusion, and I love the androids. But there are just whole episodes where nothing happens. Super isnt innocent of that crime either, but it wraps things up quicker for the most part. I also really love wies, beerus, and champa. Also like the pilaf gang, and the tournament arc made me absolutely LOVE frieza. The character designs are also really really awesome. In short, if Z got to the point quicker (much like this comment) I'd like it more.

They could've given him the shorter ki blade he uses, they could've given an oven mitt accessory to mimic the stunt Whis pulls on him, they could've given him a crazy face... those are just a few things off the top of my head. Oh, and they could've given him a Goku Black head or a way to put a Goku Black head on since when they changed bodies in the show he somehow retained his clothes. Seems like they only slapped a premium pre-order on him because they wanted to... which doesn't make sense because they have the First Form Frieza figure who's at a slightly higher pre-order price and seems to come with quite a few accessories. So bizarre. If I really had to take a shot in the dark it's because they figured that not many folks would buy into this Zamasu figure so they're price gouging for the sake of making it appear rarer or higher in demand than it will be. Like his fusion form is cheaper than this and has more accessories/parts, it just doesn't make sense beyond trying to exploit collectors via exclusivity/fear of missing out.

I know you dislike them, but demoniacal fit are releasing this guy with the aura blade and replaceable head and hands to turn him into Goku black in this outfit. Say what you will about them, but theyre deliberately copying the "limited" releases and adding to them to make Tamashii look bad, which imo is a good thing, it will force Tamashii to rethink their greedy practices.

I do agree that the bu saga was kind of crap but nostalgia is strong enough that I really love the characters and designs introduced, ssj3 is my favorite transformation, well I like ssj4 more but it isn't canon

I liked the Beerus arc and the Universe 6 arc. Most of the new Future arc was okay, I thought Zamasu's design was cool so this figure is pretty cool. That final Tournament arc sucked though, and so did Golden Freeza.

Goku Black arc had cool ideas but like a lot of DB stuff, was poorly executed. Realised how dumb it all sounded after trying to explain the Goku Black arc to a friend that doesn't want to actually watch it. The 'evil Goku' and Zamasu stuff should have been separate arcs. Personally I feel like Goku Black would've been cooler as an actual alternate timeline/universe Goku; a "what if he never lost his memory" thing. The "Kakarot" arc. Oooof.

Personally i'd give an 8, but the shoulders need to be reworked. DBZ figures have been around for a long time now and they still have these poor shoulders design. Bandai can fix that. Don't know why they don't do it. Cash grabbing?
