the vanilla 2014 has the honor of being my first ever shma figure and he's pretty much the most nostalgic figure for me he's like an old friend but nostalgia aside yeah my copy obviously has the messed up head, the tail is pretty much useless and so loose it's annoying, and most of his body is very loose but thankfully the 2019 sculpt fixes almost everything and the fact that the 2019 head can be swapped with the 2014 just makes it so better ...on a side note 24:33 deserves an award

He was one my first as well! Either my 2nd or 3rd, can’t very much remember. So I understand the nostalgic take ya have with him! It kinda sucks… but if Bandai reissue him with some updates in honor of that Apple TV series… hoooooooo boy I’m there! SUPER THERE! As for that performance … lmao I think it was very much a deserved criticism via the former formats I’ve used. Figured it was a nice little nod to the ways of yesterdays!

I honestly think this is the best Legendary's Goji has ever looked...and I mean the figure, not 2014. Yeah, 2019-22 has the more classic dorsal plates, feet, and tail, But this guy's head is actually decently sized in proportion to his body. He doesn't look like a movie goomba anymore from the neck up. Also the face just looks more...Godzilla to me, I think it's the larger eyes and teeth, especially the fact that the teeth are white and there's more than five of them.

SHMA just needs to proof read their dang paint jobs.. shame that nearly 10 years later, such things are still mainly present. Hopefully the wave of decency evolves further into more wins rather than memes lol

I love the godzilla 2014 film and the Sh monsterarts figure because the head is so much bigger then the 2019 and 2021 head and it makes it look more like 1954 godzilla then heisei godzilla

I do agree with your statement shin rob jira but we can agree that the SHMA Godzilla 2019 was a massive step up compared to its 2014 counterpart. And it really shows with the 2019 spitfire/ poster version.

Oh man this was...SO WORTH THE WAIT! Tho i have to admit i expected more....Rage.....Sorrow....Screaming...etc. but even without all that (excluding the Ending where its present) it was still a great Video nonetheless^^ Back then i actually really loved that G2014 mold and overlooked its flaws like SH SuperFan over here, nowadays.....hmm...conflicted tbh. I look at their Products with a very critical Eye now especially when it comes to Price and if the Figure is even worth that much which is why i turned down my FW Goji Pre Order in the End (was a hard decision to make really...) And i really hope that Tamashii gets their slack again with quality Products, that are fair in Price and feel like a Great Figure (like G2000 for example) Singular Point seems to change it a bit but yeah i hope it gets better mostly Paint at the Face. Now tha Character at the End...i know that one, i've watched the Halloween Special.....and boi am i looking forward to see what he will do👀

Hahaaaaaa glad ya enjoyed fam! I think you might one of the very few who know the origins lol but that’s okay! I’ve written a bunch in to further explain it! SHAMathon has evolved beyond just… Godzilla. So I imagine the anger will shine through at least a few of the oncoming episodes will showcase that a bunch more 👀 GreGoji really had a rough time at first, but it’s nice that he eventually got did a little LESS dirty lol Hopefully the Apple TV series will give us a Reissue with updated paint apps.. maybe articulation? As for what the (as of now) unnamed guy is gonna do… well he’s done a lot in SHAMathon & beyond already! All will be explained. In time!

Some friends and I are gonna be doing a live stream about the problems we have with SHAM here in the near future. While I don't hate the line, I just think they have a LOT to improve on. I just wish that Bandai could use a fair pricing tactic like how they do with Gunpla but beggers can't be choosers i guess:/

I agree entirely. The quality of their sculpts and (for the most time) articulation is certainly high! But when the paint can be as dodgey as it is, it’s kinda of a deterrent.. like aye, this shit moves & works great, but it looks like it was painted up someone who had a sneezing fit. W H Y? it’d be nice if we didn’t have to toss $80 and upwards at em… but like ya said, beggars can’t be choosers lol

I don;t blame you for being critical, with how much money people are spending, you think they would make sure Goji looks amazing without some unpainted teeth. The 89 Godzilla teeth made him look like a hillbilly!! Can't argue with the details and I love thta the spine gap is taken care of. I want to get the 2014, but I cant decide which version to get? I saw the burniing version, looked like he got sun burned. Always dust your figures people, dust gathers like a mother flocker. Geez Rob be gentle with Godzilla!!!! That super fan need some anger managements seriously, its just a figure good grief 😑

Being critical is key for products that can break the income for a significant weight. Granted it’s less of an issue for some than others, but still. I wish they’d just get their act together. But who knows? I’ve seen a lot of positives about FWGoji & SPJet. Maybe we’re on a good SHMA streak! If we are… I hope it’s long lasting! He do need the anger management, I will say. While his outburst wasn’t hurtful, it did stop the flow pretty significantly lol

Seriously though, I try to give credit where its due & both of these SHMA Goji's are great, as is the Goji 2000 from SHMA. That being said, those are the outliers of the line in general, & these things are waaaay 2 expensive for as many flaws most of them ship with. I cant stand these SHMA review sites that have to buy more than one of the same figure cause they know how faulty they usually are, only to tell thier subs how awesome they are. Anyways, rant over, time to open some absolutely fantastic (for real), floodgates & such : D

Ik it may not ever happen but hopefully sh monsterarts makes a re release of Godzilla 2014 for monarch legacy of monsters someday I’d just love to see three versions, just one, normal accurate no quality issued normal g14, then dusty ver g14, and then atomic breath ver g14. It may never happen but I hope it does someday
