So the Evolved Pink boy will have an extra pair of hands, which is nice to give it some more expression! As for Beast Glove Kong, Bandai has to make it, right? GxK was so successful, and the Monsterverse as a whole is so popular and lucrative now that Bandai are DEFINITELY looking at that to make more revenue, which hopefully means more MV-related figures for us! Hopefully, that will also mean that they’ll put more resources into making the MV line as quality as the Toho figures, and Evolved so far looks to be the case in that (production version withstanding). I’m just so curious as to how they would do Beast Glove Kong. Would the glove be a separate accessory piece, or would it come attached? Would there be articulated fingers? Would they give Kong a frost damaged arm? So many questions!

I don't think this is the win many people believe it is. From what we've seen he's not looking directly up so he probably can't do that, in the pic where he's doing his running charge it looks like he's looking down. He looks even skinnier than how he looked in the movie so we've gone from Girdle-zilla to Emaciatedzilla. Funny how a decision by the director for a toyetic design somehow makes the toys suffer. We don't see any accessories advertised. No breath effect, no alternate hands and the price is very high for this guy so I can only assume that when he's available at sites like BBTS he will cost over 100 for US buyers. Over $100 and if he's somewhere around $92-$95 it wills still be over $100 after taxes and shipping for limited neck range and possibly zero accessories. This is not it for me personally. Also if Skar King is more expensive than Kong I'm skipping him too. Skar King should be around the same price as the current Kong or even the 2021 Kong.

There he is! And he looks fucking sick, goodness gracious. I’m still keeping my Hiya preorder so I can have both, but holy smokes, Bandai! And they gave him different hands! Thank God. I was a little bummed when the Hiya version had the same neutral MV Godzilla hands that have been around since 2014. And we’re getting Skar King soon??? Bandai really looked at the news in the Godzilla toy world recently, and said, “enough games”. We’ll see once the retail version of Evolved actually releases, but so far, to me, the SH looks better than Hiya’s, and it’ll have more articulation to boot. If this came with a pink atomic breath part, it would be a knock out. Both versions look beautiful though!!

I actually think slimming down Godzilla made him look way better. Previous monsterverse designs were too fat for my preference and as a result his head looked way too tiny for his giant body. I still think even with this evolved form of Godzilla his head could still be slightly bigger especially around the snout area but overall I’m very happy with the changes and hope they never go back to fatzilla.

I’m not sure, if any figure is going to sell out fast it’ll be this one. It’s not only a new Godzilla design but also a new sculpt from shma. I’m sure plenty of reviewers will have reviews for this early. I’m attempting to get one early so I can review it

I pre ordered my hiya today and also looking at this announcement I will indeed be picking this up. I've stuck to hiya over Sh simply for the fact hiya just represents the movie quality better. But I do have the minus one SH and I just got the Metallic blue Earth Godzilla and honestly I've slept on Sh for a long time. It just when it comes to Godzilla imo sh doesn't deliver the feel of legendary that Hiya does but man I've spent these past months just digging in looking at sh versions and I'm starting to come around on SH and when this Godzilla comes out I'm gladly adding it to my collection and I'll be going back and adding more monsterverse from SH. And I do agree Idk if it's the lighting that hiya used but the pink looks better here. Like with the translucent hiya heat ray all the pics I've seen made it look hella wonky but in person pics never did it justice. Rn as color to color Sh nails the pink better but overall hiya still brings that movie feel. I'm glad sh took a new model approach to Zilla and they killed it.

i like the sculpt but the face looks a little too villianous as in the movie the only time godzilla looks like this is when his eyes are glowing and im basing this off of the scene where mothra calms him down cuz most of the time his eyes were glowing anyway so i kinda like the hiya ones face more but the sculpt maybe it cuz hiya overtoned there photoshop on the paint so for now shma sculpt looks better but not gonna pre order cuz uh minus one incident

I don’t think this is a real figure yet and these are just computer generated. The thing that is off for me is 1 pic, his tail spikes look more movie accurate but then in all the others, they look very small. Like it’s not even the same sculpt. And knowing how SHMA prices their figs… I think I’ll stay with Hiya toys. Much better bang for the buck and their quality has been far above SHMA. The figs are just built much better and they are larger and you pay half as much.

The only Godzillas that's ever looked great sh did was Earth and minus one. Monsterverse has been subpar. Hiya has truly nailed the monsterverse feel to figures. I'm not rich and I own 5 sh monster figures.

I actually disagree on the Minus One figure! I own a copy, and it honestly looks really damn good in person; the details especially are absolutely immaculate. The articulation is smooth, the paint is solid, and the face is good. I may have just gotten a near flawless example, but I’m quite happy with it.

I agree! The PROMOTIONAL photos look amazing! But I'm wary of how the retail release will fare. Even though I'm confident it'll articulate better than the Hiya, I highly doubt the paint will look nearly as impressive in hand. And for $120-130, without a breath effect? C'mon.
