This is a huge improvement from the original Shin Godzilla SH.MA, the tail is solid, no paint chipping, no weird glossed or matte splotches, I’d give this figure a 7/10

It's a shame the head turned out the way it did, because honestly... I really like this thing. It'd be nice if SHMA could stay on a consistent streak. Especially for the prices they ask.

I love sh monster arts. Do they have errors? Yes. Are they still worth the money for everything else? Yes. Hands down. You won’t be able to show May anything that comes close.

Nice unboxing, I’m glad I canceled mine. It just not worth it in my opinion like i did with all of my SHMA orders. The quality just down right suck! However I’m totally happy my xplus deforeal which out class them by a long shot and don’t care they don’t articulate. Looking forward to seeing your full review!

Ah, I see you got it the same day as mine, but I can definitely confirm quality control issues. Luckily, mine seems to be a better copy. The only issue that I had was the missing toe paint you had, so yeah. Tamashii Nations needs to up their quality control.

The base head on mine has a crooked jaw.. so that's fun Honestly the heads on this figure could have been a lot better and it's my biggest gripe with it but everything else I like or love

Yee repainted the eyes and teeth on mine... Glad Bandai seemed to have tightened up their QC on the SCV Ghidorah. Truth be told, I don't care about the QC issues on these figures, I expect them and thus I'm prepared to repaint and fix them. Now yes, I shouldn't have to do that, at all... BUT I find painting and customising relaxing, and honestly I'm kinda good at it. So for me the extra 10-15 minutes I spend repainting and touching things up is worth it for the finished results. This is also coming from a man who has 50+ SHMA figures now...

I dont have the steady hand for such things so I'm kinda stuck with his scrambled egg ass looking eyes lmao I just wish for the prices they ask for, they'd just hunker down on some better QC, especially on these higher priced boys.

@@ShinRobjira I totally agree, which is why I'm so happy the SCV Ghidorah 2019 turned out so well for most. It seems like Bandai Tamashii is taking the shma surveys to heart. I'd love to stop doing the little touch ups, though I do enjoy it, I shouldn't have too. So I'm glad it looks like we're finally getting on track again.

To each his own, you obviously love all things SHMA, but no way in hell im wasting a drop of paint on something that pricey! Keep it up though. Maybe SHMA will get even better at sucking, & you can repaint entire figures later lol

you need to review S.H. Monsterarts Mecha Godzilla 2021 its sculpt is 100% accurate but it's missing some red at least it isn't as bad as shin dear god shin was a nightmare it was missing too much paint RIP shins figure paint quality also CAUTION please be very careful posing the tail cause it's not very well engineered for its sculpt
