Man, I'd love me a Showa Mothra. Love the Revoltech, so a different year would be appreciated, but hey I'll take what I can get. I will say, though, I want a Rose Biollante SOMETIME AFTER a bunch of Showa and Millennium releases.

I at least would love a Biollante repaint mecha king ghidorah but both releases should come with beam effects so mech king ghidorah a purple beam a two yellow ones also a acid beam for Biollante and for a new monsterarts a rose form of Biollante would be nice

I, too, am sick of the Heisei figures. Not that they're bad, but we get SO MUCH Heisei and only a few bits of Millennium. There's only 3 figures I want to see from the Heisei series at this point; Godzilla 1984, Godzilla 1991, and Rose Biollante. Enough with the repaints and whatnot. It's time to TRULY move on to the Showa and Millennium eras. We've gotten 3 Showa G sculpts, 3 Millennium ones, 1 Showa enemy, and 2 Millennium ones. I want to see more Showa Godzilla. I want to see King Ghidorah, Gigan, Megalon, Jet Jaguar, Orga, Megaguirus! I want to see all the monsters Bandai has teased through their Godzilla releases and more.

10:38 I don't know why, but I got a great laugh out of the way you flopped her around like some kind of raw hot dog. The larva looks fantastic. Hearing the horror stories of SCV imago, I was cringing so hard as you loosened up the wings and antenna, just expecting something to snap.

I got mine a few days ago.The antenna are on tiny ball joints.i popped mine off accidentally while trying to put the beams on it. Other than it being a delicate figure mine didn't have all the problems of everyone else.

Sadly, I was looking forward to this.. and I got the exact same reaction, except my antenna broke off with the slightest shift (paint). I just glued them on and called it a day. Might consider looking through Testors paint to find a good color to patch up what was left over from the original figure.

The LIAD Project Don't use Testors. It's enamel based and will destroy the paint around it. Get something acrylic based

Can't wait for the review man. Never had the mothra larva set, so I'm hoping this one is just as good if not better then the OF. Sucks that I don't have the original larva effects.....but I'm sure bendy wire and cotton will do the trick :)

Got mine today and it had a lot of paint scratches/chips. Also, the right wing was frozen from dried paint. The worst part is there some weird circular scratch (almost like someone tried to drill it?) on the side of the body. overall I like the look of them both and the beam effects are refreshing to see, but I'm just saddened by the lack of QC with this line.

Not digging it. The paint application is thick and sloppy as hell. I wish they would move away from the endless Heisei reissues, get their QC under control, and start releasing figures of other eras. But I know that ain't going to happen; we'll probably see second and third repaints down the line, as their QC continues to plummet.

Pretty sure they're only releasing that one because the Japanese love their Mecha. Even then, isn't it a web exclusive? Didn't look too hot, from what I've seen of it; the Bandai vinyl figure and chogokin looked a lot better.
