Listening to Kobe talk and hearing his voice has become very therapeutic for me. He was at peace in his retirement: it’s obvious. The great thing about the time we live in is that media’s coverage ensures that there will be plenty of content to look back on when people pass-plenty of quotes and funny stories. Influential people are digitally scattered throughout the web.

faboze ... While I agree regarding the point about absent-minded parents (well done ;))... this boy is rather exceptional. Especially to show such poise and articulation on the Tonight Show... with cameras... in front of millions. And, imho his questions are more intriguing than a lot of other seasoned sports reporters. Instead of simply echoing the same ol same ol inquiries, he seems to dig deeper a bit and asks fun and compelling questions. He likely doesn't have the pressure of the next headline, though I suppose, so he probably enjoys more luxury in that department than other reporters. Cheers xo

Golden, golden moment. And you can tell how fond Kobe was of kids, especially the smart ones. Like he saw himself in them. It's beautiful. I shed a tear again this time but this time it's a happy tear. ❤️

It's hard not to like Kobe Bryant after this video. I've not always been a fan of his off-court choices... but the way he handled that kid was pretty darn cool. And, dang... that "kid" makes it easy. He's more articulate than many adults! What a bright future that young man has.
