I always like to see new pages appear in this flower journal. Such a great way to try new techniques or old favorites on a smaller scale. I love the tip about removing the paper guard on the trimmer if you have larger size paper. I agree that getting out different trimmers to accommodate the paper you want to use can be just one extra step in the process.

I can't imagine that I would have anything to offer to someone with your abilities, but I do like when you use simple items in your projects. Such as the corrugated cardboard today was a household item that added so much to your page. Very well done and clever.

you can use any flower stamps you have, you can draw them if you are good at it, you can even trace them or print them out and collage them or cut them out from magazines! It's the same with any other of my projects, one can get inspired and use what they have. Thank you for watching!

the weather is like that here too.... windy, cold and heave rain ... but the happy bright colors and the flowers bring spring in my mind and coffee with friends out in the warm sun.... oh that covid is driving me crazy!!!! so thankful for my hobby/job ... it's keeping me sane!

@@vickyp We're thankful for your hobby/job too, believe me. After watching you make this page I was wondering if in your vast collection you have any Sweet Pea stamps or dies. It's one of my all time favorite flowers that you don't see very often. Someday in the future it would be amazing to see what you would create using the Sweet Pea flowers. I remember as a teenager growing a small patch of the short bush variety below my bedroom window and how pretty the pastel colors were. I haven't thought about them in years but this page reminded me. By the way, you know all the rules we have to follow for covid, I was sorting through some old Real Simple magazines that I had saved in my sewing room looking for collage items to cut out. In the Oct. 2013 magazine there was a list of things to do to avoid getting the flu and all the covid rules were there. Stand six feet away from people, wear a mask, wash your hands frequently and so on. Some people think the rules were made to mess up their lives (you know the ones I'm talking about) when as it turns out the rules have been around for years and years. I cut out that little section as a reminder and eventually it will make it onto a journal page. Thank you Vicky for all you do for us...Cindy

As for the rules.... simple rules that we have to follow to get out of this mess safely while waiting for the vaccinations. fingers crossed by the end of this year we will go back to normal. Oh I'm so happy you worked in your flower journal. I love this series!! So tranquil and calming during this continuous pandemic and downturn. Thank you for bringing warmth and happiness to us! And since you give permission to make requests and give suggestions, I respectfully request Paper Artsy and Stamperia products. I miss those art journal pages you made in the past with infusions and PA stencils and stamps. I also would love to see you use your Stamperia undersea papers again. yes! just a place to be creative ... I have been working on this flower journal for 2 years now and whenever I see a flower stamp/die that I love, I check the first letter and if I don't have a page for that I know where it should go. Hope I will finish it this year, but then again... no pressure!

I love the flower journal. I'm glad it wasn't abandoned. I know what you mean about art supplies! Though my problem is, the boxes are stuck in Spain because of us in the UK leaving the EU. Everything requires more paperwork & it's slowing the process down. But it was my Christmas presents using money given & I've got lots for the value, so it's worth the wait. Craftelier is the store. I’ve been watching your videos for _________?? (a LONG time), and there’s not one I haven’t absolutely loved. I appreciate and am inspired by your card-making videos but especially love your art journaling videos like this one. I have recently been purchasing more Tim Holtz and Ranger products. Hi Vicky! I’m loving Tuesdays! =) Happy to see the alphabet flower journal worked on again. I’ve never heard of the Snowdrop flower so it made it even more interesting. I’ve added it to my A to Z list of floral options although I’ll probably use the Sunflower for my S... this is just what I needed today. I’ve been in a bit of a slump and was tired of so much quirky (Dylusions & Art by Marlene) that I’ve been doing a lot of in recent months. I’m ready for “pretty” LOL... Now, I just have to decide on my format. Since many of my flowers will be 3D (Heartfelt Creations) I’m thinking of something that will decorate my home... hhhmmm.... maybe... I have a photo colllage frame with 24 openings (4”x6”) that alternate horizontal and vertical orientation. I could combine a couple of letters... not sure if 4x6 would be too small... I’ll scope it out and give it a try. If it doesn’t work, I’ll check out something else! As always, thank you for your time & energy creating and sharing your creativity that inspires us. that would be awesome! you can even use dried flowers/plants/herbs on your pages instead of stamped or die cut ones! This way all you need to do is to create the backgrounds and then find the real plants. Oh the ideas... the sky is the limit with something like that!
