the best thing to do is climb onto the ceiling of the cage if they're smart enough to see an empty cage, assume invisibility, and start jabbing spears in it until they hear footsteps or cut something.... they're probably not smart enough to then check the cage's ceiling. I'm gonna go see if I remember how to make suggestions on the site.

It runs fucking abysmally on firefox and is a complete nightmare to control, even without the speed issue. I recommend using chrome. I got reasonable performance out of it. But I want to know who's idea it was to make Katia completely invisible to the player? Half the time I was struggling just trying to figure out where I was relative to everything else. There's no automatic pathfinding, at least none from what I could tell, so it's annoying getting somewhere. At least the animations were super nice, and the whole thing looked good. Shame walking through it was such an annoyance. Either way, I'm thrilled that we finally have an update to the story. It's good, but to be honest, I was expecting a lot more, considering the fact that it was a 2 year long wait. I know there were a lot of issues that came with this update from lots of different people, but my god. Hopefully Kaz can make up for lost time with future updates. Hell, maybe he even worked on them in advance. Probably not though. Not like he owes anything to anyone anyway. But still... NEXT UPDATE WHEN?!

And Katia is screwed again :( I'm not sure if it was intentional, but the controlls are a bit hard to understand and confusing where exactly You are. When she's on snow, You can see footprints... sorry, pawprints. But in other areas I didn't really know if I am in the one entrance or another one. And where should I go. Not like "I'm lost because I don't know the way" but "I'm lost cause I don't know where I am, so I don't know if I should go left or right, cause I have no idea if I am at left or right side of the screen". Besides that, the flash was an amazing interactive story game.

I feel like I'm missing something. I seem to have found both of the "alternate" paths on my first two playthroughs, but I can't seem to get this one to even trigger by trying to go through the front. Katia simply mentions that she doesn't want to set off the guards in the front and then all I can do is wander around near the front door. What did I do wrong?

Ok, so, SPOILERS. I hope this is long enough. After getting caught like that, I only see a couple ways out. One is trying to talk your way out. As in, negotiating to see if she can please not get killed. However, even though that might not work she might have to play along and let whoever caught her (assuming its not Sigrid) monologue. Another thing might be a secret passage under the pedestal which the bowling ball was placed on. Also, maybe trying to stay invisible, and quietly stay out of reach could work. As well as simply waiting for your doom. On the other hand she might even be able to slightly lift the cage. She could use her telekinesis AND her arms simultaneously. Maybe once she did that she might be able to wedge something in between the floor and the cage. Maybe the bowling ball? Also, maybe she could just test how hard the steel beams are. Perhaps with that bowling ball (assuming she can lift it) she could try to bend them or even break them. And if she can use telekinesis on the bowling ball and maybe throw it. Maybe it'll be more effective than by hand. Also, since the cage didn't have a rope attached (that I saw, at least) it might have a keyhole. Break it maybe with the bowling ball. The floor is cracked. Maybe try using the bowling ball by dropping it. Maybe you could make a hole or something so you could technically dig your way out once the hole is big enough so all she has to do is claw at the hole and remove rocks, thus making way. I know I'm overthinking this. But I really love this comic. And I just want to help both the fandom, and the creator, (hopefully) with ideas.

Again, its completely possible that it really is Sigrid down there, but for now, we haven't seen her yet. Maybe it's some other person, Someone who won't straight out kill Katia. Maybe this is what the ghosts wanted her to do, since all they did was give her a strange object, there had to have been an ulterior motive they, for some reason, couldn't say (or talk at all, mostly) which would sort of explain why they could not communicate much, it would also explain why we kinda see that the last ghost she talks to looks like Aggy. We know Aggy isn't a silent ghost, he just wants to help Katia become a witch hunter, AND we know he is very smart and crazy. And, given what we know, we can safely assume there had to be a reason, if that really WAS Aggy, that he wouldn't talk to Katia. So, this could also not be as bad as it seems.

In all, though, if she can't escape on her own, it all leads up to this: Either Sigrid is a villain mastermind, somehow knowing about Katia tresspassing, probably Stephane told her, or the ghosts will appear to help her out, or someone other than the people we know, a new character, will appear and interact with Katia.
