i think with songs this old you can have the notes but any reeditions you need permission for, like whoever played the song owns their recording of it. so you can record and slow it down yourself but not take other people's recordings. and i assume op here just slowed down someone else's since they arent making money off this

Here as the music is slowed down, the actual sound moves lover, because physics reasons, I think, I'm not a scientist. This might fool KZbin but it wouldn't fool the orchestra that recorded it, should they find it. Copyright strike, and potential costly law suit, ensues. Try find a recording by a smaller orchestra, maybe a youth orchestra, semi pro or non pro orchestra and ASK to use their recording. Worst thing that can happen they say No, and you move too the next, not so famous, orchestra on your list. Unless of course you have the means to have an orchestra record the piece for you. Or if you are a musical and a computer wizard and can make your own music from sampled instrument sounds on line. I have no idea how that would go, I'm neither a music nor computer wiz myself. Just a bored, long retired lawyer, with a agile brain. I haven't practiced law since 1989, so Not Legal Advise Obviously. I don't practice now, so won't be able to assist, more's my pity. I'm looking forward to hear about your fantastic game with it's epic music. If you want more to draw on more music wise in the same kind of vibe, I would suggest checking out Aram Khachaturian (also spelled Aram Chatjaturjan) an Armenian Composer, Stravinsky, a Russian that received asylum first in France then In the US, after the Russian Revolution in 1917. Especially his Spring Rite. His Fire bird, that can be found on the video Fantasia 2000, by Disney are hauntingly beautiful in places.. For something that kind of ethereal, check out Sibelius, a Finnish composer. Same-ish kind of tradition as Grieg. Same but different. Yours, Ann
