Very high standard performance by amateurs actors and actresses. Thumbs up for Chen Wei Tian for the outstanding performance. Very promising future in this art of acting teochew opera. The level of artistic skill is very high indeed despite Singapore Nanhua Chao Opera troupe does not perform regularly in Singapore except for festivals as far as I know. Hope Teochew Clans in Sg and other enthusiasts of Chao Opera continue to support and sponsor their shows.

But I shudder at the dedication & many hours of learning/practices /rehearsals to achieve this standard for the many amateurs here, and especially the young performer who took on the role of 六娘. What a heavy responsibility. Bravo.
