Althought I don't understand anything, I can feel its power. Greetings and respect from Germany.

I really want to chill in a bathtub in the middle of Icelandic nature. Does some tourism company provide this?
@Flugkaninchen8 жыл бұрын
+kaguth I think you can take "chill" literally there. The water came from a glacier. ;)

The music was great and I'm falling more and more in love with this band, but the shots in this video were fucking amazing. Anyone able to guess the camera model and techniques used here?
@papyrusghost99768 жыл бұрын
It says in the description: "Although the core of ‘Lágnætti’ was shot on the Canon 60D and 550D, a wide variety of cameras were used, including: the Canon 5D, GoPro Hero3s, a Krasnogorsk K-3 16mm, and an even an Apple iPhone 5 belive it or not." I agree, the cinematography here is fucking phenomenal, can't believe that most of it was apparently shot with a DSLR...

I love the music and the video , the nature is amazing !!!! But Im curious ... What's the meaning of the red car ? With comunist symbol?
@HelvitisGussi10 жыл бұрын
There's litteraly no meaning of it... The video was shot close to Hólmavík in Iceland, we did two 20hour days to get all the shooting done and the car was just something that someone had in the town, we asked if we could borrow it and he said no problem. We just thought it looked cool.
@bogdankoldunenko84308 жыл бұрын
It did look cool and you accidentally made an allegory to the creation of soviet union))) Great video by the way, this band has best visuals of all I have thus far seen in metal.

Lovely, everything is lovely, but, can i ask anybody to translate what Lágnætti means?
@HelvitisGussi10 жыл бұрын
Lágnætti is basicly just "Midnight". The word "Lágnætti" translates to "Low" (for Lág) and "Night" (for Nótt or Nætti) The word is from the oldest way of telling time Icelanders have, Back then we split the day in to 8 units of "time" "Ótta" is 3am "Rismál" is 6am "Dagmál" is 9am "Miðdegi" or "Hádegi" is 12pm "Nón" is 3pm "Miðaftann" is 6pm "Náttmál" is 9pm "Lágnætti" is 12.pm

Thanks a lot, the whole album is so much closer to understanding now... I don't know more than 4-5 words in Icelandic, but a friend of mine thought me some stuff about Swedish and Old Norse, so when I read Miðdegi, for the first time - correctly, I was shocked how familiar it sounds!
@abyad0009 жыл бұрын
Gunnar Guðbjörnsson But Ótta means fear too, doesn't it?
@HelvitisGussi9 жыл бұрын
Gilbert Botos The Icelandic word for Fear is "Ótti" or "Óttast" so it's very easy to mix those two up
@abyad0009 жыл бұрын
Gunnar Guðbjörnsson Ohh... thank you! I think I'll start learning Icelandic. Sounds and looks so awesome.
