That’s what exactly what he says the song is about Sharon. I looked up the meaning of the song and it says it’s about his wife Sharon and it says that after every tour he calls his wife and tells her mama I’m coming home

That is SO true! I didn’t listen to him as a kid but remember I heard “Bark at the Moon” once. I heard “Crazy Train” for the first time 5 years later(I know that was out of order of when those 2 songs came out and way late for Crazy Train) and immediately recognized Ozzy’s voice and I’ve been a huge Ozzy and Black Sabbath fan ever since.

Written by the immortal Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead. Ozzy said Lemmy wrote a better song about himself and Sharon than he ever could. Lemmy wrote a few others on that album too. Hugely underrated songwriter.

Ozzy wrote that song for his wife. He used to call her after every tour and tell her Mama I'm coming home. I used to do this song and karaoke all the time in the late 90s and early 2000s. When my mom and died in 2011 I lost the heart to do it and never done it again and karaoke.

Exactly it''s his pet name for her. She knows how to put her foot down around him and able to control him when he acts up. Stood by his side through out all the bs. I used to call my wife " little mama" since she was so short. She always put me in my place when i would act a fool. She was an amazing woman that stood by my side. unconditional love.
