The language we speak shapes the way we think. Language is a fundamental aspect of a culture, and is imbued with the concepts and world-view of a given culture. That's why it's important to conserve.

I love the sami and find their culture and traditions very interesting and beautiful. To me there's nothing more attractive than a woman who is traditional and motherly. Appreciate who you are and your history. You have something special that millions in the world have lost and dont even realize what they once had. ✌️♥

I’m here because of Sofia Jannok from her song Irene because I thought it sounded so beautiful and looked it too and I would love to learn this language.

IPomsk i check oahpa.no for resources! North Sami has the most access to learning but the others are amazing as well. Sadly there are not many resources in English out there, but if you dig you can find some. Anyone who wants to learn our languages are welcome to it. I wish you luck, and feel free to @ me if you need any help! Ollu giitu (many thanks) ❤️💚💛💙

Nice video... I thought they are a mix of Asian and Caucasian? However, most of these people are full Caucasian-looking.
@vlikevanilla4 жыл бұрын
only if you mean Asian as in Russian. Other than that there's no reason why they would look mixed, as far as I'm concerned :)

Morocco. Mitochondrial DNA studies have discovered a close link between Berbers and the Saami of Scandinavia. This supports theories that the Franco-Cantabrian refuge area of southwestern Europe was the source of late-glacial expansions of hunter-gatherers who repopulated northern Europe after the last ice age.[26] Northwest Africa and Morocco were slowly drawn into the wider emerging Mediterranean world by the Phoenicians, who established trading colonies and settlements in the early Classical period. Wikipedia brought me here interesting stuff
