Hi friends welcome to Anu's Kitchen.Today I am sharing the recipe for Kerala Sambar without Sambar Powder.

Toor dal/tuvara parippu-3/4 cup
Onion-1 small
Tomato-2
Turmeric powder-1/2 tspn
Kashmiri chilli powder-2 1/2 tspn
Coriander powder-3 tspn
Fenugreek seeds/uluva-1/4 tspn
Kayam-2 small piece
Potato-1
Carrot-1
Ladies finger/vendaykka-5
Onion-1 small
Curry leaves
Green chilli
Tamarind-1 small ball
For seasoning
Coconut oil
Mustard seeds-1/2 tspn
Fenugreek seeds-a oinch
Cumin seeds-1/4 tpn
Turmeric power-1/4 tspn
Kashmiri chilli powder-1/2 tspn
Coriander powder-1/2 tspn
Dry red chiili
Curry leaves

So after everytime u wait for the whistle then open the cooker don't u have to wait till ALL the gas is gone? So then u have to turn the heat off. then wait. then open then turn it back on? Im confused....
