Regardless of being 15% or 55%, it is not a recipe in this day and age for building a state. Wake up it is the 21st century if you didn't know. The world is interconnected and there is no room in it for sectarian conflict - we live in the digital age and the fastest is the winner. Not this religion or that. This thinking is so backdated and belongs to the dark ages and we still hold on to this thinking. If we have a state then all will be protected. There is no need to speak of حقوق المسيحين وحقوق السلمي وحقوق الدروز وحقوق الارمن الخ - اذا في دوله كل اناس حقوقه بتكون محميه حتالوكانت عاهره يهوديه عايشه ببعكار طالما انها لبنانيه ولو كانت يهوديه لبنانيه عميه اومفتحه اخ The state will have human rights, equal rights and freedom of speech. In all developed countries, when a deputy makes an interview, he/she will talk about their objectives for the past year or period, how much of it they have achieved, what are the objectives for the next period and how they intend to tackle them. In Lebanon, politicians never talk in detail (with data and numbers) about what they have achieved. Instead, they give their opinion about other politicians/political parties.

We've been waiting for as far as I can remember for the regional situation to get better before tackling the economic and developmental issues. While the major thing that will make a concrete change in lebanese' lives is efficient public management and hard working politicians willing to make real progresses on public projects. The 1000 miles journey starts with a step, and it seems that no one is willing to take this step in our country.

Even if you love a politician, as a citizen, you are supposed to observe in detail what they are doing and what improvement has happened as a result. Be demanding with them and don't give them excuses such as, they are nice, they had good intentions, the situation was tough anyway, they tried, others didn't let them... If no data or number supports their results, don't vote for them again. As a boss, would you pay a salary for an employee who's not productive? Probably not. It's the same logic.

As far back as 1936 or going forward a bit say 1946 (let us give them 10 years to try) Gemayel and the Kataeb Party have always believed in an independent and sovereign Lebanon free of all foreign influence. 1946b0 2023 = 77 years. Why does he not talk about this and admit having failed to achieve their objectives? simple. 77 years, I would have thought is long enough. Why can't he talk about it and discuss it? Typical Lebanese politicians no accountability. Ma Khallona is no answer whether he says it or others say it. It is a failure. For God's sake talk about your failures. You owe it to your people.
