This is an intellectual, mind-blowing, and exciting episode. Dr. Saleh is educated, and frank, and Dr. Christina highlighted the interrelation between politics and psychology, which is not familiar to the audience yet essential. I know what was spoken was rational; however, I found the last part emotional. For instance, as a Lebanese woman who moved to the UK for many reasons, starting from scratch, I was moved when you talked about "the potential." Unfortunately, Lebanese people don't deserve what is happening to them by the political parties, whether in Lebanon or outside of it. I mean ALL of the politicians! The struggle is real! Finally, I'm afraid I have to disagree that Lebanese people are instinctively sectarian; instead, they are brainwashed. Finally, we can only wish for hope. Fi amal? Eh, fi amal... Only if educated and unbiased people who genuinely love Lebanon raised their voices. Thanks!

What a thorough and genuine feedback. Thank you for every word you wrote Dima! Peace, love, and ‘Amal’ from Lebanon to the UK. ♥️

Goodness gracious, Ms. Harb. You hit the nail on the head yourself. Your review of this stellar episode deserves a stellar review of its own. I disagree with you on one thing: Lebanese people - as a collective, not individually - most definitely deserve what they're getting though not to this extreme degree. Why the harsh words? Because they keep voting for the same crooks over and over and over for generations. Their kids and grandkids keep voting for the same idiot za3eem's kids and grandkids. You know the one famous definition of insanity by A. Einstein: Doing the same thing over and over but expecting different results? That's politics in Lebanon in a nutshell. Even lab mice learn to avoid touching the electric shock plate once they get zapped a few times.

Very interesting personality and very enjoyable episode, and thanks for the subtitles, it's obvious the effort. I believe the guest can address more taught and deeper questions. (However it was not easy to listen to it with headphones, the host said 157 "emmmm" with an average of 2.96 "emmmm"/min, and the laughs felt fake)

I always had mixed feelings about this gentleman. He sounds accurate and can surely debate for hours about hezballa and co but I can't ignore the fact that WE, and by that I mean lebanese people financed his education. His father's suspicious ways of becoming a millionaire after being a ,mind you, journalist, makes me sick. This is not acceptable.

Salah el machanouk, has tendency to be veryyy extreme and one point of view to a point of addiction, he s torturing himself to go in the middle , he just can't , coz it is his deep structure, he should resolve his deep issues, traumas and family patterns so he can be able to acheive balance and neutrality, can't be done on mental metal level.
