I take feedback from at least 5 people and work on common problems they all say. ennitt aa puthya draft i will send to another 5 friends, along with 2 or 3 friends from the previous group. athil common prashnangal parayunnath i rework in my next draft. This repeats 4 or 5 times. my scripts are always ready by at least 20 of my friends, along with other filmmakers I know and so on. Ennitt aanu I reach a script that I pitch to someone. A script is not written, but rewritten. If it took 1 year or 5 years to get to that script doesn't matter. The final script will speak for itself on the work that went into it. That's a good question Sun S. 2 type directors und ennu parayam (just for understanding okay). One is an actor's director, another is a technical director. Then there are combinations in between. Actor's directors are usually actors who later turned into directors (think of Prithviraj). They are more focused on guiding the actors, their performance and lets the cameraman decide the shots and camera placement. Technically I think that is when a cameraman is called a Director of Photography, because he/she in effect is actually directing the whole photography of it. Technical directors are people who can be thought of as being at the opposite end, with very little acting knowledge, but wealth of knowledge in all the arts that make up a cinematic experience. These are people who come with completely designed storyboards, color schemes, and so on. To be a good director you have to be in both sides. You have to figure out where you stand in this line for yourself. Only then can you build a team that will help you make the best film you can make. I hope that answers your question.
