The group aimed to develop a new system and tests, establish exercise routines for physical training in challenging areas, and recommend exercise schedules for serving soldiers in headquarters and institutions. After five years of enthusiastic research and study, the Study Group submitted its report, which was approved by the Army Chief for implementation in 1992, marking a historic change and which is still in use by the Army .
