Surprised they've not done a ships of the world with Mikasa on Hood yet given she's the most famous battlecruiser in history mostly for how her story ended
That's amazing, Azur Lane attributed the history of the submarine during the American Civil War and the famous Confederates Hunley Boat that sank a Union main line ship, though it was a literal failure to keep the crew alive. Holland Boat was the very first operational submarine that fired torpedo from a torpedo tube, most its predecessor with a torpedo fired from external holder, resulting firing torpedo losing power, cause incredible instability to the submarine, flipping or tumbling the submarine which cause extreme crew hazard. Holland Boat was the first true ancestor of all WW2 and modern submarine, using a internal combustion system, internal reloading tube and stowage of armaments. WW2 Submarines were more submersible, requiring the be on surface. This was a war to create a longer diving submarine, which US Submarine had advantage over their German, Japanese and British counterpart, simply by having better battery. Until the invention of the Snorkel system, US Submarine enjoyed a longer diving and operational time than most submarine. Archerfish in Azur Lane is a uber tier submarine, her buff all US Subamrine by 1 tier in terms of torpedo damage, making the likes of Albacore and Cavalla to be as good and even exceed the Ubaots, the current meta of Azur Lane submarine fleet.

I hope the azur lane's 2nd console game does have a story mode where any player can get to choose which side to play in that story mode either the azur lane (the heroes) or the villainous crimson axis
