Thank you for the tutorial (again)! Instead of syncing the Random site module, you can also change its area in the attributes, if the area is defined then it selects both synced objects and all objects in the module area.

Awesome! That makes this even easier to set up, but still leaves a lot of flexibility. Thanks for the tip!

Well explained video. Am in the earliest stages (I don't get much PC time) of creating a S.O.G. Prairie Fire mission, and I may very well use this. Anyway, have just subscribed to your channel.

How would I go about adding tasks or objectives with the random site module?
@AudioAnode3 жыл бұрын
It gets a little tricky but it's possible. Use 'Create Task' modules synced to triggers, and have the trigger check for the presence of a specific object in your random site. You can do this by right clicking an object and selecting "set trigger owner," then connecting it to the trigger. If your random site doesn't spawn, neither will the task. Just make sure the object you're syncing is one that will be despawned if the site isn't selected.

@@AudioAnode I did this but the task still shows up, but greyed out.

What an awesome tutorial! How did you go about adding units and objects in layers?
@AudioAnode3 жыл бұрын
You can create a layer by clicking the little folder button in the bottom left with a "+" on it. After that, select the units and objects you want to put in the layer and drag them to that layer in the left panel.

How did you select everything in the layer with one click?
@AudioAnode3 жыл бұрын
Click on the top item, hold shift and click on the bottom item. You can also Ctrl+click to select multiple things one at a time!
