"S.O.S." is a song by Swedish pop group ABBA from their self-titled third studio album released in 1975. The song was written by Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Stig Anderson, and produced by Ulvaeus and Andersson. Released as the fifth single from the album, it peaked at number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

These is ABBA, the iconic Swedish pop quartet, the best, most versatile and most important of the 70s, in the post BEATLES decade (the revolutionary group of the 60s) ABBA, as in its time BEATLES, was a musical and cultural phenomenon, and its legacy lives on remember that ABBA is an acronim with initials of their first names; initialy Initialy they was two couples too: A- Agnetha (blonde lead vocal) & B- Björn (guitarist and songwriter) B- Benny (pianist and songwriter) & A- Anni Frid (brunette lead vocal) (both couples separated before the breakup of the group in 1982) all four ABBA members have the same level the two ladies are outstanding lead singers, some songs share the leads, anothers with one in the leads the guys are fantástic songwriters and great musicians, also give backin vocals ABBA begins your famous career when They won the classic Eurovisión Song Contest in Brighton UK 1974 with their iconic song "Waterloo" (next year will be 50th anniversary of the Most Important Musical Act in all Eurovisión history

(1975) has a story It was one of Their first recordings after the greatest success of "Waterloo" in Eurovisión, just four months later, in August 1974 But it waited almost a year for its release, in June 1975 at Sweden, September 1975 at UK and US (the next singles after Waterloo was, in these order: Ring Ring (re-entry), So long (at 1974), and "I do I do I do I do I do", and finally "S.O.S." when " "S.O.S." have your chance to be a single, it picks at #6 in U.K. and #15 in U.S. being Their second hit in both countries at the same time, and six #1 (including Germany Australia) and more Top 10 in several countries of all continents and after these, ABBA had 18 Top 10 consecutives in UK between 1975/1982, for example: Mamma Mía, Fernando, Dancing Queen, Take a chance con me, Chiquitita, The winner takes it all, Super trouper etc "S.O.S." in less than 200 seconds is a gem, a Masterpiece! Thx , I agree, excellent pop song, three minutes rich, in instruments, arrangements, layers of voice, lyrics, bridges, the small instrumental break on keyboards, the intro, the end. The interpretation of Agnetha inspired with almost tremolos in her voice particularly pleasant to the ears. The video dates from 1975,
