MCs sound way better live. They are an important part of live drum and bass. People dislike then because they dont sound good on recordings, when people are at home listening to a set. I actually think MC Texas did a decent job

The MC has and will always be part of DnB. Of course there are always going to be good and bad MC's, just like DJ's. But I honestly can say that @MC Texas was doing a pretty good job at hyping up the crowd as well as spitting lyrics. Trust me, in the 28 yrs that I've been raving and listening to DnB (yes, that entire length of time), I have heard some pretty shitty and extremely annoying MC's. But Texas is definitely not one of them. And yes, I am a DJ that would prefer to play without the aid of an MC. However, I will NEVER say no if an MC wants to perform while I play. I just tell them that I want the music to do most of the talking.
