Well, the Sanguine Nights took place in 2019, but almost 5 years is also very long amount of time. I'm glad I started playing around that time and didn't skip any of captainverse events

Gotta love the captains sheer perseverance. The absolute pain he puts himself through for others. The captainverse was surprisingly enjoyable and ‘The Day You Vanished With the Stars’ is still my favorite side event. To bad they still haven’t released the song by that name, wonder if it has a copyright issue.

Main trio of captainverse: Rosemary - depressed woman who saw two versions of her Captain go diametrically different paths, one as self-destructive as the other. No clearly visible yandere tendencies... yet. Kongming - depressed immortal woman whose wish became a curse, had to flee her world and say goodbye to her old life and family/friends. Tsun-lite with hints of yan. Will "protect" Captain from other girls trying to take advantage of him. Luna - depressed quasi-immortal vampire bound by fate with her human (kinda by their own makings too), waited for him for immeasurable amount of time. Yandere (but with control), will love him to death and even longer, after his bones turn into a dust. What can I say? He has a rough road ahead of him... BUT IT SHOULD BE ME, NOT HIM!

Man... looking at this brings some nostalgia. At first the event is just like a generic dating sim with different girls and different routes, and then they make Saguine Night as a sequel and look like the previous dating sim event, but when we thought that, it turns out to become the turning point in the Captainverse, starting with the introduction to Luna for the first time. Making a promise to save her, which turns into a 5-year journey. We got to meet her at the Odd Drifter event, but it was a short reunion, and knowing she's still waiting for us gives that sense of impatience in me for the next Captainverse story. And then, The Day You Vanished with the Stars, we meet Kongming with that Steins;Gate-like situation, trying to save her but unable to do so... At Rosemary's Floriograph event, we finally meet Rita after getting a glimpse of her from Otto's observation about another universe. At TeRiRi's Magical Quest ending, we finally see Luna after so long, and it looks like she turned rogue, and with the After the Blood Moon Fades event, we are finally able to save Luna, fulfilling the promise made long back and concluding her saga....

This new waifu is a masterpiece! I've been playing with Haxxor Bunny and Pardofelis for months because their gameplay is so fun and rewarding. I've been searching for a third waifu to complete my team, and while others are good, few match their level of fun. This waifu feels worth every penny, and I'm excited to dive in!
