@EnduranceRoom2 ай бұрын
Thank you. I am not certain, but I do imagine there is a way to attach it in that fashion. Personally though, I feel a better solution would be the Savotta HATKA. That bag is very light and highly useable as a quick grab and go bag. It would definitely fit on top of the RP80. It is quiet commonly used by the FDF for that very purpose.

Morning Jess .. It's good seeing you again .. been a while. 👍👍👍 .. good review. Yep, that Shock Cord from Varusteleka (and the little clips that one can order with it) really does the job. Got some extra G-Hooks too when I bought the Beaver Tail for the Jäger S .. handy little items. I like the ATV (getting lazy? 😁). I'm sure that W & W must enjoy Dad taking them out on trail thereon, giving K some well-deserved 'own time' 😊. This 21st of month, officially the start of Swiss Autumn 👍 (and not early enough). The ticks this year have been especially prolific 🙄 .. and with approx 50% infected with Lyme Disease, one cannot be too careful. Winter clears out much of the ground cover .. nice 😊. Good seeing you again, my Friend .. thanks for the share and until next time, take care .. Tommy

Hey Tommy! The beaver tail is such a good idea. 💯 My parents came for a short visit about a month ago. We haven’t been able to leave homestead, so this was their first time meeting the boys. My dad surprised me the day they left with the bike. Couldn’t believe it. It’s a HUGE help having it here. We all pack on and put around. The boys love it. 😁 It is cooling off here pretty fast. Haven’t seen any ticks in awhile. Not a complaint 😂 Have a good one my friend. 🤝

@@journeyman7189 Thanks Nate. How’s the kettlebell going?
@journeyman71893 ай бұрын
@@EnduranceRoom Wish it was going better. Think i went to hard to fast now my elbows burn every time i bend my arms. I think its a tendon/ligament thing. Trying to stretch it out and moved down in weight with the KB
@EnduranceRoom3 ай бұрын
@@journeyman7189 That’s pretty common. I been there. Pick up set of those long flat exercise rubber bands. They’re cheap. Wrap the elbow up tight, plus a couple inches above and below joint. Then open and close elbow, rotate forearm as you do it. It will be uncomfortable, but keep it going as long as you can before taking band off. It will drive old blood out of tendons and flush with new. It’s called Voodoo flossing. Very effective. Do it multiple times a day until elbows improve. The issue is most likely do to gripping the kettlebell, which is flexion, curling fingers around handle. It needs to be balanced with some extension. Get in a pushup position, but rotate wrists outward so your fingers are pointed back towards your feet. From here you can stretch out all those tissues in elbows and forearms. Basically, one side is getting a lot of work squeezing the bell, the other side of the arm (the part that opens hands) isn’t. What kettlebell weights do you have? What exercises are you working on?
@journeyman71893 ай бұрын
@@EnduranceRoom Thanks for the tips Jess. I have a 35lb and 50 something lb. I thought about picking up (pun intended) 1 or 2 20 lbers. I've been doing the ABC and the humane burpee sets as well as S&S
@EnduranceRoom3 ай бұрын
@@journeyman7189 Nice! Those are great starting weights. I would hold off on ABC for a bit and work S&S with the 35 and do it 5 days a week. Squats, halos, hip bridges, swings and getups. The swings will help you build up your tendons. Work the two hand swing and really own it before going to one arm. Gradually add in sets until you are doing all one arm swings, and then work on making them powerful. Do the getups after the swings. Probably take 3 months of just working with the 35 to get everything smooth. Jumping up to the 53lb/24kg bell is a big step from the 35lb/16kg, but is absolutely doable. It just takes a bit of time to focus on owning the lighter bell. Use it to get your techniques dialed in. When you do jump to the 24kg, it will be night and day different (more challenging). The ABC and doubles stuff in general is awesome, but really not the best to start with. The cleans in the ABC could do some serious damage without spending enough time doing the basics. I strained my elbow doing a bunch of cleans last year and ended up partially tearing my bicep climbing over a fence. Lost 2” off my arm in a day. It’s taken over a year to heal and build back what I lost. I am saying this because it is really easy get focused on this stuff and keep going when there is a problem. If something hurts, you gotta dial back and figure out what’s going on and how to fix it before it becomes anything serious. Any questions, just shoot me an email anytime.

Nice review! A factual correction: this pack was not designed for the FDF, it is "just" a regural commercial design and product.
