I took the southern route and had nowhere to stake my tent. Hard/rocky underground, low brushes with pointy sticks, Dense forrest and rocks and roots everywhere. its amazing you didnt have problems on the northern route :D

Oh But we did, the pictures in the tent around 2:00 are on a hilltop which was pure rock. Luckily we took precautions and had a freestanding tent, so we only needed 2 stakes for the front of the tent, which we put up using big rocks. The other nights we were near lakes in woodlands where there were little problems finding good tent spots.

Massis Unfortunatly for me, I had a tunneltent with me :p. Next time I'll definetly take a freestanding one. However, the beauty of the walk did let us forget these minor problem :) cheers!

I've switched to hammock since last summer. So much more fun, comfortable and versatile!

Took the train from Nykoping airport to Vagnhärad and walked back to the airport in 5 days. GPS clocked in just over 100km I believe, but that includes some small detours... 33km in one day was the longest, which was too much really, especially given the rough terrain (wet, slippery rocks and boulders)
