I used to pick mushrooms in Sörskogen when I lived in Flempan. Didn’t see anything strange. But there is a very, very, big oak and some good rocky cliffs by the water to sit on. Saw Mikael Åkerfeldt on the Pendeltåg sometimes as well.

Quite stunned by this! And now In Cauda Venenum being in Swedish makes sense. If this was during the Morningrise era, it shows Akerfeldt singing and playing much more like he does now. In fact it might actually be a miracle that we got death metal Opeth at all.

There are rumors flowing around that they recorded 3 more songs, but never published them on the internet, like they did with this song. Maybe in the future, there will be a whole CD release, or maybe an EP. Who knows? :)
