I just want to mention, as someone who's been around the franchise since its first game in 2007 to the new people coming into it for the first time. Many people will play this game, having no idea the struggle, pain and drama it went through to get here. It was an absolute horror story. even before the war. Its an absolute miracle this game exists. No other way to put it. If you ever want to read a tale about a video game company dying, returning from the dead, and then going through seven hells, just to persevere and release anyway, go look up the history of this franchise since the mid 2000s, especially the bit where everything was shut down in 2012/2013 onward.

General sentiment around whoever played the latest build has been very positive, of course the game has it's negative sides. Honestly considering what GSC has been through while devoloping this game, I'm willing to give them a chance even if the game launches a little bit buggy, it's understandable. Let's not pretend the older games were perfect lol. I still haven't preordered but chances are this one's a day one buy for me. I've never played the original games but I played standalone mods like anomaly and gamma, I love it. While I don't expect the game to be like those mods, GSC has expressed time and time again how they know mods are a big reason stalker is still popular and relevant and they itend to give all support possible for mods. This alone caught my attention. Overall I'm very excited for the game, I hope it goes well and sparks a new chapter in the STALKER and GSC Game Worlds stories.

I booked a private guide for the day, which allowed me to explore some truly unique and special locations. It was, without a doubt, one of the coolest and most unforgettable trips of my life. Sadly, time is taking its toll, and nature is steadily reclaiming the site. Before long, Chernobyl as we know it may vanish completely. Still, I wish Ukraine's victory and want to visit it once again. 💙💛

i played soc clear sky and pripyat all over 100 hours each and the best part is the eerie empty landscape and killer atmosphere. you need a few mods though and the engine is a little weird with stuttering but man what a great game to put the headphones on and grab some artifacts

As a ukrainian I really hope this game is great I am huge fan of the original and stalker 2 is basically our only big game If it does super well I hope it will open many new doors to Ukrainian developers and we see more games But if it fails i’m gonna be so depressed you can’t even imagine 😂 Praying for it to be good 🙏🏻
