​@@kurecistehno758 Yeah, I’m getting about the same. With 1440p on high/epic settings, DLSS Quality, and Frame Gen, I see similar FPS drops in cities (55-70), while outside it’s around 80-110 FPS. I’ve heard some people complain about input lag with Frame Gen, but I’m using Nvidia Reflex Low Latency, which definitely helps reduce input lag

What is your ambient room temperature? I am currently going through your videos because I have a similar Legion 5 pro with same specs but my GPU seems to be hitting 87 degrees when drawing above 110watts(throttles and settles around 105w at 86degrees). I’m not able to utilise my 140w rated RTX 3070.

Have almost the same laptop (Legion 7, rtx3070, Ryzen 7 5800H, 32gb RAM) and playing in 55-60 fps on 2k resolution (all settings on HIGH, DLSS quality, NO FG). When i tried to change on 1080p - fps did not increase, but graphics became terrible😅 That is strange, but you can play on 2k without any fps loses

Changing the settings does not restart the game, this is a mistake.

Its because the game is extremely cpu limited in a lot of areas so even if you turn down the settings to 1080p all it will really do is put an even bigger load on the cpu which in turn wont really increase your fps

If you change the setting, be sure to restart the game. I have the same but 100 watt gpu 3070 Laptop and 5800h nitro an517. The preset is medium and 50-80 fps without generating frames. FHD DLSS balance And better Windows 10 for more fps. I tested! !!!Changing the settings does not restart the game, this is a mistake!!!

You need to disable CPU boost for Ryzen mobile chips. My 5800h covers around 70° Celcius.

hey brother, i have a weird issue with the laptop, when my cpu hit temps between 74 to 78 c it automaticly set it clock speed to 3700mhz fixed in all cores no matter what if do turbo mode or not,any fix ??

I do have an optimization guide on my channel it is my most viewed video but likely won't change much when it comes to performance if you have higher temps I recommend using LegionFanControl, buying a laptop cooler or cleaning the system. If your GPU is hitting 86c and CPU above 100 you're starting to throttle so would need a clean

The game feels really sluggish overall, and honestly, I’m not a fan of frame generation in shooting games. If the FPS could consistently hit above 60, it’d be a much better experience, but as it stands, I wouldn’t use it

Probably when it gets some patches. I use shadowplay to record and it has a vram cost so testing at 1440p would run really bad also I don't even get 60fps at 1080p

The only option you can disable is light shafts that talks about realistic lighting it's only on with the Epic preset. The lowest every other setting will go is low and even at that preset you don't get a consistent 60fps

keep in mind that it is the Laptop version of the Rtx 3070 but it still shouldnt be getting 30 fps but it also potentially be due to the fact its unreal engine 5 which is a very sub par engine for optimization plus it also just came out so it may need some updates to perfomance
