You can add more mods and check for conflicts. Each Mod has a unique installation sequence you must follow or else it will crash. Right now I can play without hiccups but at times it throws me off

You are over-using medicins like crazy, its super expensive, you should only use medicine like medkits and post-heals if your desperate, as you forgot/failed to mention that campfires heal Core health over-time just by standing close to it for a minutte or two. And limbs will auto heal when you sleep. New players will most likely lose alot of health and if they use medicines left and right then they will run out of cash almost immediately, using campfires and walking with slightly hurt limbs can help you go days without using any medicine as it all heals at the end of the day

I am playing in the easiest difficulty so it was never really the issue. and just used the heals there to show a bit about the system :)

@@Just_Al_ph Fair, i have reccently started to tab into medium and hard survival, its really not that hard, you just cant buy everything you want anymore, you acctualy gota craft a bit, its accutaly helped alot with immersion. There is a setting to turn up how much random loot you find in houses to to make hard survival a bit easyer

The first tip is exactly how I setup GAMMA it makes sense the higher ranking more experienced stalkers are going to have good condition well maintained gear. Your not going t9 be a legendary stalker and have a junk rifle.

I also do this every time, its just makes sense that higher ranked stalkers have proper working weapons.

It's a gameplay vs realism thing. My legendary stalkers have junk rifles: keeping them locked behind advanced gun kit for better progression

All the people complaining on it’s too this or too that, you can LITERALLY change up soooo many settings in the MOD Configuration menu and make the game how YOU want it lol. It’s honestly super simple, change how much cash you get for quests, how much damage you or enemies do, how many there are, the drop rates and chances or armor and weapons per stalker lvl type. A plethora of options

If you hold down the F key it will automaticly highlight whats in the area for you with a text prompt, super easy to see whats in a room for you to loot this way

Binocs I usually find for free early on I usually go Sunrise suit, filter mask, KP-9 and SKS. Both guns are more then effective for what you'll find in cordone and most likely the first gun you'll be able to fix up will be a shotgun so no need to take one from the start. It's also most likely the rifle you'll be able to mount a scope to will be the SKS. So early game you'll be pretty well rounded that way.

Great tutorial - thank you! When I first played GAMMA months ago, I didn't realize that you could modify the mod. I updated the rules so that I could save at campfires and also increased the drop condition as you mentioned. It now plays closer to my style and much more enjoyable. Thank you!

I liked this video a bit ago. Forgot what your name and the video was called. So glad i found this again. Added this to my stalker playlist. The loot drop fix made a lot of sense. I made zombies like 5 min to like 95 max. Most 95-99 max as theres always the chance someone died swift and sudden with little damage.

One question. I added Bullet time in MCO and can see it it mods in game but cant find button for activation?

Your tips are fine, but I think beginners should know that making it easier to acquire working higher level weapons earlier might severely shorten the early game "hobo phase". The hobo phase is where you learn your starting weapons and use them to work the early game areas for unfinished weapons, weapon parts, crafting items and other gear. This is where you encounter lower level enemies and mutants. This phase is for learning the systems without having to fight super dangerous enemies. By not having to do this, new players can continue to higher level areas faster. It might shorten the grind, but it could also shorten one of the more fundamental parts of the game. And you will meet higher level stalkers, or find dead ones eventually. The weapon systems and ways of acquirement in GAMMA is hard the same way Dark Souls is hard; it required you to actually familiarize yourself with the systems in place. I strongly advice new players to put the work in to do it as intended instead of making it easier. Though that is just my advice. IMO the hobo phase is a lot of fun, and super rewarding when you finally acquire the weapon parts and upgrade kits to go from the starter weapons to something a bit better. And by that time you have learned to love your starting weapons and the tactics needed to use them effectively.

Got really frustrated on it and quit at first and thought this is just not the game for me and since its old why would i even bother? But since learning that i can tweak this stuff i spent a lot of hours into this game. This is for a first playthrough right now i domt even use this anymore

i agree it doesn't make that a high ranking stalkers has a broken gun and armor its immersion breaking. but please turn on hardcore AI aim for more fun and intense gun fights hehe

DUDE I'LL TRY THAT that's what Im missing right now harder AI to fight I might just create a new playthrough again on a harder difficulty since I was able to turn of the brain scorcher last week and I was already able to take on the mercenary camp. Time to experience the real stalker experience hahahah

Hi Man, You would need to download the KVMAS Models there is an installation guide in their discord server. If you want to improve anything better check it on the discord server first since they all have specific instructions for gamma

Hi, great video :) I have a little question about drop condition for weapons, can I change that option on existing save or I have to make a new save? :)

I think so since it's a slider in the mod configuration menu. I know I tried it before in an old save and my frames dropped so there should be a lot more stalkers than before XD

Hi Baso-sama, It should be the KVMAS and Azetrix Model. There is an option to change the icons to something like escape from tarkov. The devices of anomaly also changes some of them. However it took me a lot of time digging through the GAMMA discord server to make it work. You should search for it in the MOdded gamma support chanel for the step by step guide.

I'm torn on Gamma, the way they make it so hard to get good guns makes it really rewarding when you do, but at the same time everyone dropping completely broken stuff feels gamey and unrealistic. Instead I'd have preferred if good gear was very rare to find in the hardest areas I think. Especially in terms of high tech stuff like advanced armours and optics.

That's one of the things I changed immediately before playing, minimum 45% and 80% slightly like vanilla stalker.

if you want good graphics on low performance pcs, just play dx11 with only SSS and project INVERNO installed. i attempted to run atmospherics addon on my gtx 980 ti, but it seems that the graphics card it too weak to run the game with this addon properly (crash on launch). yes this means you have to spend 1-2 weeks creating your own modpack, but making your own modpack means that you're making anomaly perfect for you instead of relying on someone else's preset.

Stalker gamma is whatever u want but certenely not for new players, newplayers should play the original trilogia or Anomaly, gamma is hard even for experienced stalkers

its really not that bad.. played and enjoyed survival difficulty on my first playthrough with no stalker experience and little tarkov experience (prob less than 50 hours)

Having to repair a gun you found gives you feeling of achievement each time you get to use a new gun. So i dont understand your need of intrusion in game balance in such way.

Hey man you would still need to repair those items and Master and legend class stalkers are hard to come by atleast in mid game I raided a merc camp and only found 1 master. But to each their own :)

​@@Just_Al_phyeah ill have to dissagree, mainly because even high rank stalkers with good gear can be killed easelly if you get the drop on them and have like half a mag of ap ammo, and there is a lot of high rank dudes with even nosorogs in radar wich isnt that far north, i wish the repair was better, maybe if it had a better ui like the one in tarkov where you can see each part in a gun altough thats wishful thinking, aside from that it feels great to get a good gun and go trough a lot to repair it, its very rewarding

@@syltis1994 Please explain. The game would get less time intesive and probably easier in starting areas, but since Gamma has no Story whatsoever, the playthrough would ultimately just get a bit shorter at worst. The "balance" is only there because it's Grok's preferred way to play.
