Not all dialogues in this video have been translated. For NPCs, the content of conversations changes depending on the rank. Novices cheerfully share plans for life, can tell about some adventures and tell jokes badly, and they are often asked to stop joking. Veterans, on the contrary, are depressed, and complain about life all the time. And this applies not only to singles, but to all factions.

@@LordVader1094 Each faction has its own small set of original jokes and a lot of retold ones. It turns out to be the effect of a damaged phone. Sometimes a joke is retold in such a way that all meaning is lost. For example, Svoboda’s original joke about bricks and zombies, but the soldiers of Duty retell it not funny. Completely original jokes are not retold by other factions. For example, a joke by bandits about bloodsuckers on the side of the road. Or the military about the new colonel in the unit.

the only thing that doesent make any sence about "free stalkers" is that they are called "free stalkers" we know they are not free, they work for certain traders and other "popular" individuals in the zone, but I also understand that calling them mercenaries would be confusing.
@GeneralTantzu2 жыл бұрын
I think Free Stalker just means they don't belong in any of the bigger Stalker clans like Duty or Freedom. Loners makes more sense, since they are a mixed bag of individuals with no real command structure or relations.
@tezwoacz2 жыл бұрын
@@GeneralTantzu well there is a command structure, the "traders" they work for, I guess most likely explanation is that the name of the faction just stuck from the original game build where it might have been something else.

Watched this before searching what stalker was and playing it and thought that people came in, hunted animals and founds artefacts, and left. Now I watch this and see a guy wearing a gas masks eating bread and some freedomer smoking cannabis

I mean i expected this, loners die like flies once you go farthet than yantar up north you don't see that many loners except maybe in zaton because of their little outpost but they become such a rarity imstead you have monolith fucks and mercenaries shooting each other.

Oh my God, I feel so terrible joining the bandits and annihilating these guys. I never understood what they said in Russian but I felt like they were depressed and it makes sense. But this? They're downright broken, how have they even lasted as a faction? Poor guys are even more depressed than I where back when I was suicidal. Damn I love stalker games
