This was by far my favorite mission in the game so far. I haven't finished the game yet, but this mission has everything!! Lore, plot progression, big revelations, ties to previous games, political intrigue, meaningful decisions that not only have a story impact but also no right answer, action, suspense, and spectical!

There are a lot of lore fragments, that you can only get, if you side with the Ward. Minor spoiler: Korshunov hates Dalin with a passion and frustrated by the fact, that he can't hurt him.

I tried the Ward, and honestly they don't seem that bad to work with For a "generic, authoritarian faction" I expected them to be much bigger assholes, but Korshunov really cares about his men, and their goal isn't so bad At least, I would choose them over Sparkers in a heartbeat, especially when you learn what Scar became much later in story...

The first patch fixed a good chunk of the main quest hardlocks but there are situations that can corrupt your saves (alt-F4'ing during a loadscreen is surefire way to do that)

I had some issues during a mission in one of the x-labs and a few of my quicksaves got corrupted, but I saved often enough that I had a fourth and fifth quicksave in the same xlab. Hardly impacted me at all. I also had an issue with crashing loading into one of the final fights, but I verified my folders and it worked fine after that.

I don't know the plot of most of the game, so what I'm gonna say here is speculation. But I long suspected that even though the Monolith started out as an illusion, its abilities became tangible, and it became like a sentient being in the noosphere, same as the C-Conciousness, and became a part of the Zone. This experiment probably let it connect back into the Generators and thus gave it power, and now it is actually able to act

I'm sure someone mentioned it by now, but you only saw two of Strelok's endings from SoC there. After those two, three more of his kneeling figures appear for the other endings as well. I think you just missed turning around to see them!!

You missed the other 3/4 Strelok wishes because you just never look around, man. Give it another go sometime and you will see more Strelok "ghosts" appear after the first two. They are really cool.

Hi anomalous dugout what is your theory why great swamps are empty of stalkers or is it explained in the game ? Sure you can say that all stalkers left because place is full of mutants but i think that there is alot of mutants because all the stalkers left and there is no one there to hunt them my theory is that its empty because swamp has difficult terrain to walk through so its much easier for stalkers to collect artifacts from other places in the zone
