Yeah I agree that my version is slightly faster than the original, I changed it this way to give the song a bit more of a lively feel, but in retrospect I think I might go back and re-record a better version of this song at some point that is closer to the original version :)

Hi Simon. I'm wearing a thumb pick for this song as it helped with the transition from picking to strumming. The thumb picks I use are Dunlop thumb picks. Also in some of the parts I pick/strum quite close to the bridge end of the guitar to get a sharper tone. I hope that helps :)

Well to be honest I would say that learning the original version of the song is fairly easy and I got the hang of it a long while before I finally decided to modify it and share it on KZbin. It depends how advanced you consider yourself, I'd probably rate the song as an intermediate-advanced piece, if you are comfortable with the chords and some fingerstyle techniques it shouldn't be too challenging with a bit of practice :)
