Of course. I bought SoC in 2007 and I've been hooked ever since. I also contributed to Call of Chernobyl. Plenty of people love Stalker in Britain.

It's definitely not as popular in the U.S.. Strangely enough, the Metro series is more popular from what I've seen. That might have more to do with Metro being more accessible. STALKER is an amazing series, but its also super janky. Tends to turn off a lot of American gamers. I love STALKER though! Just as I love Metro and Fallout. They are the holy trinity of post-apocalyptic games for me!
