The black version of this Shotgun is pretty much PERFECT for a Classic DooM loadout. It looks a LOT like the Tootsietoy Dakota cap gun that was used to make the original DooM shotgun sprites.

This is sweet, the other vids of the ST870 out there arent great, I've been wishing for a decent review of it for ages! Like you I'm totally sold on the look, I just wasnt certain what the build quality was like. With me as much as I would love just staring at it on my gun rack, if I were to get it I'd definitely aim to use it. I know you're here to do reviews and likely you have a busy schedual (congrats on the new contract with ICS by the way) but id love to see this in your game play too if you ever happen to feel inclined to do so. By the way, arent there friction fit scope/ris mounts that can fit on the M870 frame? pump action = snipe action (accross shorter range maybe)

I hate these, especially the ones that don't have any sights on them. The barrel on mine is crooked and I can't figure out how to adjust it, which would help with accuracy a lot. It's made entirely of die-cast zinc alloy, and it's super heavy. I traded a KWC Desert Eagle MKVII for it and a G3 AEG, and I completely regret it. If anybody can tell me how to straighten out the outer barrel left to right, that would change my opinion a bit. It's also way too powerful for its optimal range. Would rather try eating a boonie hat than buy these over a CYMA tri-shot 870 or a Double Eagle Super 90.
