Just to let people know something really important about Lepic's ult that I haven't seen mentioned anywhere so far: The animation of getting out the weapon arm seems to count into the total ult duration. You 100% always want to dodge cancel the wind-up animation, this nets you 2-3 extra shots! Slowly getting the ult weapon out is a huge DPS loss. Secondly, I love your guides, you are one of the best TFD content creators out there. For this particular guide though I heavily disagree with the decision to give Lepic survivability at the cost of damage. There is a big difference in solo bossing speed and coordinated group bossing with builds that 100% minmax Lepics intended role compared to the direction you are going in this vid. Your build will turn many a run into an unnecessary two phase. People will copy this and wonder why others do so much better at boss killing and will then need at least 1 catalysator to fix their build at that point in time.

Interesting take as I want to build my ultimate lepic that I just finished researching to 1 phase bosses on hard solo to farm other needed pieces, especially the ones gated for lower percentages. What suggestions/changes would you recommend to the build presented in the video?

@@karlmay7563 The slot I was mainly referring to is the C one. You'd want to run two Xantic instead to fit both Dangerous Ambush and Maximize Power. You will then have to switch Technician out, you can either go Strong Mentality there or switch the Polarity to something else, like an A for Fire Synctium. MP Accelerant can be switched to Spear and Shield to then have at least a little bit of defense + Skill Power, but it feels like that's a bit flexible. Maximize Power has to be used, there isn't really a way around it. "I don't want to force you guys into that playstyle" just because it might require a death to reset cooldowns quickly doesn't feel right in the context of minmaxing a Bosskiller.

If you wanna deal 2% more damage and dont mind a 50% cooldown increase (because youre trying to 1 cycle anyway) You can swap from Fire Specialist to Maximize Skill. If you want a 6% faster cooldown and dont mind a 2% damage decrease you can swap to from Fire Specialist to Focus on Fire 👍

You can get Enduring Legacy to a magazine size of 172, allowing for Mental Focus to work really nicely even though a non-Gley character is using the weapon. Giving a large maxed buff for 22 rounds.

@@GenocideLv You could do that, but it's not really worth it. If you're set up for infinite ammo simply, instead of just shooting in the air, you might as well just shoot with the infinite ammo right away, since your CD and Duration should be setup to have permanent uptime (hence infinite). It is by far better however to use something with a higher Fire Rate (Python being the best, since it can use an Ultimate Reactor too) and using Massacre. You can then get the super buff from 150 rounds almost instantly with a 1222 Fire Rate when modded, ON TOP of all the skill dmg being added because of Massacre.

i do not understand how you are doing soo much damage, i did the exact same build and the boss after just walking away from my ult every shot i take at him, it still at 100% hp and 25-75% shield? what in the hell am i doing wrong? i even tried on dead bride whos weak to fire and i managed to damage 25% of her shield

I follow his mod guide and i have a better reactor than him (1 gold additional atk agains colossus and 1 gold crit damage) but somehow my damage seems below him. My crit damage is 7 mil- ish, and im struggling solo against swamp walker. I can still beat swamp walker solo but in 1 min and i have to die couple of times first. Against devourer is 10 seconds. Still not as effortless as him in beating boss solo

Hey moxsy, great video but quick correction. With legendary reactors you have to have the weapon equipped in order to gain the extra benefits. So in order to max dps you want to have a type of smg

From my understanding, the fire rate of the weapon doesn't matter, only having the modules equipped matters. Try it out on a sniper rifle.

This is completely backwards. The gun doesn't matter. What matters is that Sharp Precision Shot on general ammo weapons stacks every 1.5 seconds, while Sharp Precision Shot on impact ammo weapons stacks every 0.8 seconds. Plus there's only 4 impact ultimates for the reactors to pick from.

It will take a few days but I hope by next week end this build is fully copied. I do not have the perforator yet but the blue beetle is also an impact weapon that uses the same mods as perforator for hit rate. Just need to adjust the reactor for the right weapon.

Disclaimer up front about chat and other creators was very good. One thing I'm not sure I understand: When you use your 4, you are switching weapons from whatever was in your hand to your unique weapon and that triggers the transcendent mod, but also the weapon mods and the ultimate reactor mounting still apply? So you changed weapons but now you have both weapons? How does that make sense? Is it a bug? Is there a possibility it will get patched out of the game by the time I unlock Ultimate Lepic and apply all the descendant mod slot types?

I just got Ult Lepic today after a couple days of farming. For busier people, it might be a week. But my advice would be to farm Ult Lepic rather than invest in normal Lepic. That said, to answer your question, normal Lepic still rocks, especially in the mobbing setup.

Question: Would it be ok if you take out either emergency measures or front lines for a skill cost module? so you can shoot even more. I haven't tried it, but what do you think. Ps: also skill cost seem to be good with him if you dont have extra damage for colossus

I have a question for lepic nuking mains, is there a better general, impact, heavy round weapon choice for reactor? or they all fine as long as you have sharp precision shot?
