It’s a debuff that makes them more susceptible to damage.

You can but the mod you buy would depend on your build. But it’s easier to just farm them.

Does having the highest substats represent the following colors: Purple, Blue, Blue, Green? Are these great to upgrade? Also, could you tell me the correct attribute stats (diamond) color to start with, as the best to enhance them?

All 3 have open loot pools, but prime war mods drop with special affixes that directly buff the damage type. Example, they’ll have Thunderclap - power surge and it’ll have power surge damage and shock damage on it.

still can't get mods for shrapnel that has violent on it. My controllers are almost spent lol

It’s better to farm the mods so you can unlock mod conversion. Then convert mods into the specific mod with the suffix you’re looking for. In your case it would be violent.

This whole video is about gold mods haha. If you want blue mods you have to go back down to phase 1 / 2 areas.

There’s no guarantee farm for them. Only way to get them is breaking down a weapon that drops. The roll is random and getting a weapon to drop is random.
