@@judsonfox4015if you like a challenge play it on hard & do not pick up up any ammo until you reach the hospital…..it makes the rest of the game a lot harder & more terrifying! Also take off the reticle hud and turn off the static radio! You have to use survival aspects a lot more!

My first time playing this game, man I was having such anxiety in the apartments. I ran out of health drinks, less 4 shots at all times. Then I got to the end with you know who. But the sigh of relief cause they gave so much healing and ammo and you complete that area.

Combining the firearms into your melee combat was definitely powerful. I would add that the shotgun can kinda be used to crowd control multiple enemies but the spread is really tight on it unfortunately. The leg shot effect is great, I can't believe I never thought to try that

My main issue is dodging lying figure headbutts in particular. Not sure what my issue is but every time I go for a hit-hit-dodge, they’ll headbutt me before James can do anything about it. No idea how to counter it :(

You will have PLENTY of bullets for bosses using this method. Also, bosses are pretty much easy with melee only

Played the original back then, want to get this remake soon. How monsters (especially nurses) react to the flashlight? Inside buildings like Woodside Apartments, Brookhaven Hospital, will monsters react to light like the first game?

the flashlight can reveal your position, and turning it off is generally the way to go for stealth. although you can't run past EVERYTHING like you could with the flashlight off in the original

I’m having a hard time on light difficulty because I never dodged or anything and tried playing the first few hours smashing everything and not dodging and playing like a shooter once I got a hand gun. Was feeling discouraged considering I’ve beaten games like the last of us and the Arkham games on hard. Now that I took these tips I’ve had to raise the difficulty cause it was too easy . Funny thing I’m 38 and played the original on Xbox way back in 2003 I guess I totally forgot like the way the game was meant to be played

This game is easy I can't believe so many people are having trouble I only died 2 times first play threw but that was because I was messing around and 1 time was because I was still hitting pyramid head when he was trying to leave and he 1 shots you when you do 😂
