Good explanation of the difference between an L-Track and an S-Track. Might be time to update your 2014 video... maybe when Luraco introduces its new chair??? Just a thought.

Hi Dr. Weidner! What's your opinion on the Cozzia Zen SE CZ-640 model? I don't know if it's worth the price.. Thanks!

Thanks for reaching out. We do not carry the Cozzia line of chairs, so I can't speak to that particular model. I Googled it and the price seems very reasonable. dr. w.

What do you think of Ogawa Massage Chair Masterdrive AI 2.0? Is it the best? What are its negatives and positives?
@massagechairrelief4 жыл бұрын
Hi, Manny. We don't have the A 2.0 in the USA, so I can't comment on it. As a matter of fact, this is the first I've ever heard of that model. I love the Master Drive AI, however. dr. w.

I am looking for a massage chair that is good for the whole body lymphatic system to encourage Blood flow and lymph drainage.... plus it would have the usual massage system so other members of the family could use it as well. What would you suggest? Thanks
@massagechairrelief4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your inquiry. Most massage chairs will enhance lymph and blood flow. All chairs essentially do the same thing, using rollers to massage chair muscles and soft tissue along the spine and airbags to compress and move those parts not covered by the rollers. The way the roller massage is choreographed in each chair can vary but they all essentially knead and percuss the back muscles. Airbags all inflate and deflate, but can differ in the number of airbags and the sequences by which they are deployed. Bottom line is that your lymph and blood flow will be positively affected, regardless of which chair you use, in my honest opinion, so choose one that feels best to you. I hope this helps! dr. w.

Hi Dr. Alan Weidner .I'm wondering which track is better and more expensive?
@massagechairrelief6 жыл бұрын
Hi, Danny. Thanks for your inquiry. It all depends on your preference. If you want to have your butt muscles massaged, i.e. glutes, piriformis, and top of the hamstrings, the L-track is the best option. If you prefer stretching over butt massage, the S-track is preferable. Cost can vary for both. Good 3D L-track chairs can run up to $8000 while top of the line S-track chairs are priced similarly. However, you can also get lower priced versions of both. It is up to your preferences and your budget. dr. w.

Hi, Dr Alan Weidner,, which brend of massage chair will fits people between 5’3” and 6’5” in a family?
@massagechairrelief5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for reaching out. I would have you take a look at the Infinity massage chairs. They have quite a number of models that can handle the taller bodies as well as the shorter bodies. You can also check out the Luraco iRobotics 7 Plus, the Human Touch Novo XT2 or Super Novo, and the Osaki Ekon. All these models cater to the taller body as well as the shorter body. I hope this helps. dr. w.

Do all chairs have rolling, kneading, tapping, and shiatsu? if not what models have all or most?
@massagechairrelief4 жыл бұрын
Hi, Terry. Most chairs come with rolling, kneading, and tapping modes in manual settings. Of interest, also, is that the shiatsu mode in the manual settings for most chairs is the same as rolling. dr. w.

Hi Dr.Alen,what can you tell me about Casada massage chairs ? Thanks
@massagechairrelief4 жыл бұрын
Hi, Goran. Casada is a German company that imports chairs from China. There used to be a US distributor of Casada chairs but they shut their doors a couple of years ago. I still have an old Casada Alphasonic model at my UT showroom, which is an L-track chair with foot rollers and limited programs. It is essentially the same chair as the Titan 8400, with a few extra bells and whistles. So, based on that experience, I would say they are low priced, basic Chinese-made massage chairs that are relatively durable for the money. I hope this helps. dr. w.

@@massagechairrelief Do you think an airbag under the hip & thighs would massage the hamstring on a S track as well as the rollers on L track
@massagechairrelief3 жыл бұрын
@@parijatmathur8489 The rollers on an L-track don't go down to the belly of the hamstring, which is the area most people think of when they say "hamstring". The rollers primarily hit the glutes, piriformis muscles, and the top of the hamstrings, which are located more in the pelvis area. If your legs are really short, there is a better chance of the rollers hitting the belly of your hamstrings. Airbags, on the other hand, can inflate further down the seat of an S-track massage chair, but their effect on the hamstrings is less than the rollers. But if it reaches the belly of your hamstrings, inflation is better than nothing if the rollers don't reach the belly of the hamstrings that I mentioned above. I hope this helps. dr. w.

@@massagechairrelief Thanks. You present facts methodically & conclusively. I would go for the seat airbag S track one.
