As funny as it is changing that guy's hair (and those were great! 😆), the fact that he just erases it and does another one (which he then erases) is insightful

very interesting this method of creating the face, more specifically on the triangle you create as a guide for separating the planes of the face, I had never seen this method before, this was you who created it or is it a technique that you absorbed from someone else, if you can cite the source or books that contain this technique. congratulations for your drawings

That might be the first time I saw you sketch a male character and it's impressive. Got some breaking bad vibe coming from the first one. I also wanted to ask, why did you use a pencil with such a long lead for starting your sketchs ? What makes a good character design ? Anyway thank you for posting, I really love how detailled your drawings are, really inspiring for people that also want to get better at drawing.

Estaba estudiando pintura cuando era estudiante. Prolongar la punta del lápiz puede ser el efecto de esto. Me siento muy fácil de dibujar. Gracias por mirar^^

I don't want to be impertinent by answering a question that wasn't asked to me, especially since Akihito already answered it, but for what it's worth, I like to use pencils with an extended lead for two reasons: It forces me to have a lighter hand so that I won't break the lead and the effect is that an under-drawing or rough sketch is less likely to harm the paper or be too dark to erase if I need to, and secondly it lets me get a deeper angle with the pencil and allows more contact with the lead on the paper, which can help me blend or shade if I am using the graphite for that purpose.

@@n3bie Thanks for answering, I actually had a hard time understanding what akihito meant since it was in spanish. Your detailled answer is more than welcome.

ah I'm glad he answered this question! Even such a skilled artist still uses refences! That should be enough confirmation on how important references are no matter how good you are.

Is there a reason to use yellow to shade drawing? Thank you for posting these videos.
@lambogenie50483 жыл бұрын
To determine where the shadows are. Well he could just shade it with a normal pencil but my guess is it's much easier on the eyes so he prefer that. I might as well emulate that..
