Opened in 1939, the Służewiec Horse Racing Track in Warsaw, Poland, was at the time the most modern and largest equestrian complex in Europe. The complex, entered into the register of monuments, has undergone a thorough renovation in recent years.
As part of the renovation, the window joinery in the glass galleries in Stands I and II was replaced. The façades were glazed with solar control insulating glass units made of Pilkington 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗹™ 70/35 T toughened high-performance solar control glass. The glass offers high light transmittance and low solar heat transmittance, improving user comfort. It works all year round. In summer, it limits the overheating of rooms, and in winter, it provides adequate thermal insulation.
