Curious: you trust a mooring more than an anchor? We have not cruised yet, so we are not sure about these things. Seems like Moorings could be questionable.

Rob, I think it's a judgement call. If the mooring is maintained by a reputable marina or municipality, you're probably safer on one during a big blow than at anchor. Correction- they're saying the boat that actually went under the bridge broke away from a dock (not sure where). Details still sketchy.
