Only by reading books n learning few informations from here n there wasn't enough to me....when I visited these 2 places I was dumbfounded n spellbound....the shocking came to me was that the temples can be dismantled n reintegrate elsewhere....superb interlocking system....I never wanted to leave this place....after the glancing there is one strong message to learn te people then were much educated n knowledgeable then today....we r nothing....to be born in Karnataka is blessing....jai Karnataka mathe....🙏🙏

Very good video. Jai karnataka. Just want to add few things to the things told by content writer. 1: The complete temple is build by balapada kallu or cinnamon stone which is is basically not hard. The pillars in the temple were smoothened by Tsing ropes to horses and cattle and were made to turn in circles. Based on the requirements and shapes more the number of turns. 2: the helmets worn like astronauts are basically the soldiers. The army troops used to wear metal head and arm gears to protect heads during wars. 3: the sculpture holding a telescope is basically the character from Mahabharata. The whole line of sculpture is the depiction of Mahabharata war where, I am not sure if it's Vidhura or Sanjaya who was actually watching the war from a far place using the instrument like binoculars as depicted. But yes we are very proud that we used this even before Hoysala time and we were pioneers of many science and engineering.
