Sorry! It is a zander, not a perch. Sometimes people say pike-perch, but nowadays it is mostly mentioned as German say “zander”.

Sorry, but for the sake of the zander population and because of my promise to a good friend of mine, the lake won’t be mentioned. In Sweden there are many lakes with big zanders. Mälaren, Dalälven, Vänern, etc. just to mention but a few…
