Hi, based on your undertone, jewel tone colors would look great on you. I would stay away from pastels. Just thought I'd share. You most definitely can wear purple, but you need a deeper more saturated purple. Hope this helps.

I think you’re right and the funny thing is I barely own anything jewel toned. Definitely the pastels wash me out. I’ll keep that in mind next time I’m shopping 😊

Finally I've found a Sezane reviewer with my similar body type, thanks so much for sharing! Loved the Betty on you the most! Do you think you could have gone with a M in it or are you happy with the drape? I ordered that same red/orange Barry & it went back due to the itchiness, such a bummer as I loved that color. Anxiously awaiting them to restock that same color in the Betty 🤞

I know it's too bad about them being itchy 🙁I think I could fit in the M in the Betty, but I prefer it a little oversized just so I can layer something underneath if I need to. @@JaniceEadie oh that's perfect, thank you so much for sharing her video! both of your try-ons are so helpful! Sezane does not do a great job of showing their clothes on anyone over a size 2 so this is saving me so much time/energy of returns & refunds.

I am happy you like the Betty! I picked few of them and sold my last navy last week as it did not look nice on me. It was my mistake of getting few of them when I just got introduced to Sezane last summer. Material is beautiful and soft though, I just wish they would make it a little longer and less boxy. Otherwise, my best color was Coffee, very beautiful in person and highly recommend that one if you love the style😀

Love Sezane sweaters but always have to wear a shirt underneath. I wear the thin layer ones from intimissimi.

The Betty in Coral is gorgeous! It is more a tomato red rather than true coral or bright orange, but it is lovely and adds a great pop of color to any outfit. I don't know if it's still in stock, but if not, maybe they'll restock it.

I found the grey Gaspard to be the least itchy compared to those others. Also I kept the navy one and it is not itchy at all.

Hello Janice, if yoı like the style of Sézane, I recommend you to check "Rouje Paris". The pieces have romantic parisienne women style. Your style is not that romantic in my opinion, but they have nice cardigans, pulls etc. Maybe visit the store in Paris first when you travel there.

I just checked their website and yes, you’re right it looks a little more my style. Thanks for the recommendation-I’ll add it to my list. I think we will likely go there in the Spring 🌷

Loved seeing this haul and what you picked out.😊 I just picked up the Auguste sweater in navy while visiting the original Sézane store in Paris and I love it - super high quality and chic! I did also pick up the Émile cardigan in iceberg blue but kind of regret it because it sheds so much, like you mentioned, and the fit is so oversized that it's not as flattering on.

The wrap top is beautiful, if you had sized down, it would have fit perfectly. It did a lot for you, most everything did, maybe you ordered everything too big!! Seriously, you are rough on yourself, show off your beautiful shape, oversize is a terrible idea on most of us.
