I'd say my biggest beef would be the lack of storage space in the galley. Food for 4 or 6 people on a 10 day charter would end up all over the counters. I don't like that. Especially if you have any seas. The nav station damage? Someone had a pencil laying there, lifted the cover, pencil rolls into crack, and then someone closed it. I suppose a metal trim piece would cover the damage or prevent it from happening. Agree on the swim ladder, seems almost like an after thought. And no rounded corners on the coffee table? Someone's not thinking. Thank you for posting this.

Thanks for watching. It did seem a little light for long term storage.

Please do more walk through on cats. Its in depth, practical. My mom use to say a galley was designed by a man, not a woman thats why its impractical. Would like your take on more FP models. Especially the new Fp 42.

Danie van der Merwe Thank you for the compliment. We really like giving an informed opinion with our reviews. That's why we don't shoot one for every boat we get on at the boat shows. We did for the FP40 because we were able to charter it for a few days and really get into it. Although maybe this is the excuse we need to charter more boats. You know...for work. We will be doing a walk through of our 2003 Antares soon. Keep an eye out for that if you're looking for used. Thanks for watching.
