What do you think? I try not to tell them I am filming just to see the type of job they do.
ONLY NYC shoe shine spots. My goal is to visit EVERY SINGLE shoe shine spot in the city, then rate which ones I liked best. Even the hole in the wall spots. Let me know which one you would like for me to visit! I am open to suggestions:

What is used for the cleaner? Is it just water or some type of solvent?

It's acetone. Some also use vinegar.

What happens if you come in with muddy shoes? Will they refuse so they don’t ruin their cloths? Do they charge extra?
