Are rigid sidereins a good or bad thing. Won't the horse learn to lean on the hand

They are a thing, rather! Good or bad depends on the user. The horse CAN learn to lean on the hand, be he can also learn that the hand is very fair; it doesn´t pull, and it gives the same length throughtout the stride. The horse must of course be prepared.
