Cell Service: Bell, Telus, Virgin Mobile, Koodo, T-Mobile - Service is very spotty. This is a huge park. In some areas there is no service. In many areas you can get basic service. The campgrounds seemed to be the best place. We were able to surf the internet and watch KZbin from the campground. If you have any input for cell service, especially if you're with a different service provider, please add a comment to help others.

You guys do the such a great job with your camping videos. I enjoy them so much and they have been helpful with our camping choices. Letchworth is a gem. Been once, hooe to return again someday. The hiking and views are exceptional. You covered it well. I hope one day we get to meet you in person!

What a beautiful park , I like the tucked away sites, I feel parks should show what the sites look like some do some don't. But maybe its because it is so large . What a spectacular Park to stay so very much to do everywhere . Thank Loved this !

This was a great video! We are preparing for Lakawanna State Park on Thursday. The info about the cell service and TMobile was perfect. That solved one of our big issues😊 Love the snippet of the deer running in the green space at 18:23 in the video. Looks like we will try this park next year!

That looks like an amazing state park. We used to go across the border nearly every year to go camping about 40 min away from there and it wasn’t 1/2 as nice. Wish we knew that was there. Thanks for the review folks. 👍🏻

Ben looked so pumped during the rating discussion I was half worried he was gonna give it a 12/10. 😂 Park looks amazing, different style than Ontario but so well done.

We have camped at Letchworth a couple times. You can't enjoy the entire park within one weekend. If you are a camping family, you need a solid 4-5 days at the park if you want to enjoy all the amenities, trails, sites, parks, museums, falls, etc. If you are from Canada, I have yet to visit a provincial park in Ontario, Canada (where we live) that rivals Letchworth. The only thing to note is that it doesn't have a beach, and that's not bad unless that is something you absolutely need in your life. I'm just calling it out to people who want beaches when they camp. This park has everything! This is a must for camping families and it is not a long drive if you live in the GTA and south. Also, you are more likely to find a site at this park, whereas, in Ontario, it's a war!

We loved Letchworth! We did the river rafting with the kids and it was fun. Not fast rafting like Ottawa river, but a good time. We were also fortunate enough to be there when the fireflies are swarming. An incredible night!

Heh, the passport itself makes the border crossing more formal than it used to be. It used to be a guy in a booth saying, "You American?" or "You Canadian?" and just taking your word for it. You could just wander across the border on foot, no big deal. I noticed a quick glance at Perry. Hometown! :D Did you make it to the Wolf Creek area? That's my favorite spot in the park.
@CampingwiththeColes2 ай бұрын
Wolf Creek was amazing. We filmed Coles Notes at a picnic table at Wolf's Creek.

We didn't do any kayaking. You need a permit to kayak on the river in the park or do an organized trip with the outfitters.

What a beautiful park! I love the 1930s vibe of the buildings but the modern comfort stations were something else. Why haven't all parks created comfort stations that are a 3-piece bathroom, like at home? What a great idea. You guys could barely contain your excitement when you were wrapping up. Too bad about Jax having to stay home though. Did you miss him?

@@muzakmike when we film campsites we try to get the empty ones and we filmed those on a week day. The rain lessened the crowd for the Gorge Trail Hike. It got much busier when the sun came out and the weekend arrived.
