WD40 works really well, my dad taught me this when I was a kid. You'd think it would lubricate it but it does when wet which gives you time to set them where you want, then when it dries it gives it nice grip almost like this here vid or glue.

It worked for me. Dont apply too much. And leave it dry for a night

Grip tape and solvent used for golf club grips. Yes you will have to cut the grips off and use a serious goop remover to clean the bars if you ever change the grips out. But once they set they won't ever come off or move. If you're used to re-gripping your golf clubs every couple years its no big deal.

So literally what? Just slather on the rubbing alcohol and HURRY to slip it on (r-alcohol quickly evaporates so hurry right?) Then what...how long to setup?

This is a terrible suggestion. I read this "tip" elsewhere and tried it years ago. Grips went on easily and stayed on well UNTIL the first time i was riding in rain. Rain water combines with the residue hairspray and the grips slide off the bars at a hundred miles an hour and you can hardly keep them on. You DO NOT want to do this. If you don't believe me, make an experiment - but do it in your garage - NOT on the road!
