That "creepy old guy" you mentioned at 4:40 is not another ordinary Malaysian on a billboard. He's the Sultan of the State of Johor where you entered from Singapore and now the present Agong of Malaysia (King) and need to be respected. Hope you are not in trouble. Safe journey.

That "creepy" old man on the billboard is the King of the state of Johor Darul Takzim. Jonker is pronounced Yonker because the Dutch pronounce "J" as "Y". Jonker Street represent the Dutch history in Malacca before the control of Malacca was taken over by the Portuguese. And this change of control of Malacca by the colonialists is an interesting history in itself.

Hee guys, I don’t know how I stumbled on your page. But it’s nice to have another friendly young pair to follow besides my favorite ones so far Lavi and Ollie. Tip: your mic is not so nice to listen to. Bring out your videos on a regularly basis. I miss the parts where you go to or search for a hotel, camping etc or packing your stuff. The daily things. Other than that, this was a very nice first video to watch. I’ll keep following 👍🏽👍🏽

Thanks for the tip! We are working on getting better mic quality, but also wanted to stay authenthic and show how we communicate on a daily basis. Thanks for the feedback, we will think about how we can incorporate all of it! Really glad you enjoyed it! :-)
